Happy Advent. Today marks the beginning of the Advent season as we wait for the birth of Christ on the 25th of December. I opened the first door on my calendar today, got a little chocolate that I had to share with my wife (dagnabit).

Turned on the Christmas lights today as is tradition, first day of Advent and all, and my youngest came home and said, "Hey, I like what you've done with the lights." Brings joy to my soul.
