So far I haven't seen anyone in this forum dissing Obama for for the action.......

Just pointing out the irony........

And the circle the wagon mentality of the left....

You will note that I said "right wingers" but did not restrict that observation to just right wingers on this forum.

I suppose that I could go back in Search to find posts where right wingers praised Bush for his "Patriot" [sic] Act and where they criticized Obama for extending it. There's a very real possibility that I'll find at least a couple of those but it's not worth the time.

As for irony, nothing equals the right wing lunacy in condemning welfare for the poor while applauding welfare for the rich but that's a different story.

OK....so the above happened under Obama's watch. Let's assume it's
a fact. It happened.

What I find as weird is that it doesn't explain why it happened in the O.P.
or the LINK in the O.P. and nobody so far is asking why this happened.
What's the big picture behind this happening as a justification, or am I
missing the point in the left/right thing?

Part of the government surveillance is Obama's quest to rid the country of illegal aliens - a step Bush failed to take. This is something the right wingers have failed to credit Obama for doing.

OK......why where "more people were subjected to pen register and trap and trace surveillance in the past two years than in the entire previous decade..." ????

In the OP, the fact that it happened is covered, but why it happened isn't,
and nobody seems to have asked the question. That's still what I find
weird.
Politics aren't about important details Ron. Get with the program.
