I have a hundred and seventy photos that I have to edit yet. I will post some of the better ones. Below is a great photo of a CF-18, A Tutor trainer, and an F-86 (Hawk one)in the skies over Abbotsford:

I lied. The photo is not over Abbotsford. It is over Portage La Prairie. I got the photo from the Abbotsford site and assumed it was taken near Abbotsford. I got to thinking that that countryside was too flat to be in B.C. and did some digging.

We have the snowbirds here every spring, they practice for days, then they
put on a show over the marina for everyone to watch, before they head out.
They zoom all over, above us while we are golfing, and actually lately I have
been a little uneasy about it, because of the two crashes in the last couple of
years.
I think I mentioned before that we used to watch when we lived in Comox. I could just stand in my bedroom and watch them from the window. Ringside seat! I don't recall seeing them when we moved into Courtenay. The airshow is there every second year isn't it? I recall being there once. Might have been twice. I have a faint memory of it being really hot once when we were at the show and then another time of going to see some F18's and it was raining hard. Maybe we just made a special trip out to see the F18's. We had a young friend that flew F18's and we ran into him in the Comox Mall one day. Unfortunately, he was in a horrific crash at Cold Lake and was killed around 10 yrs. ago.

From Courtenay, you can see them from a distance doing all of their maneuvors,
but we golf right beside the airport in comox, so they practice right above us, during the spring.

This huge aircraft put on a very impressive display while taking up all the skydivers.
