Do you think a change to the structure of the religious forums here would be:

  • positive

    Votes: 6 30.0%
  • neutral

    Votes: 4 20.0%
  • negative

    Votes: 10 50.0%

  • Total voters
    20

now i see why this topic was causing people stress. It's quite an even vote. Especially if you figure that those who don't think it'll make any difference could be added to the positive votes (as the only reason NOT to do something is if it will cause a negative effect, no one minds if it's neutral).

Why wouldn't you add them to the nagative votes? I think being in the middle is all unto itself, and dosen't lend support to one side or the other.

a case could be made either way i suppose, or as u put it, having the neutrals as a side unto themselves. It seemed most logical to me to suggest adding the neutrals to the positives since it's a for or against situation. you can't decide to neutrally act, you can either do something or not do it. Anyway either way you look at it it's reasonably close. such a small vote isnt statistically very meaningful anyway. But it was interesting to see people's reactions
