If you were to look into any military group within the British Commonwealth you would find people from Britain itself and people from the colony and people from other colonies. There were many degrees of britishness.
That is what made the Canadian Legions objection to turbans in their bars so strange.

VC are usually DOA. There were rarely VC winners walking about alive (or dead). Those guys got a different medal ... the DSO ... the "Dick Shot Off"
That was tried a few decades ago to appease Quebecers. It raised a storm of protest in Western Canada.
Here- lets go back and talk about non Cdn cops again. It all comes back to LIE-beral immigration and the quality of people who show up! Prior to the Pierre Trudeau era the only people who were allowed into Canada where people with KNOWN loyalties to western style values! These people could be trusted to a substantial degree!
But who are we getting here now? In past decades RCMP warred us that immigrants from places like India often presented fake educational credentials!
Anybody recall the news report from a few years back in which an Iranian woman set herself up as a doctor specializing in Botox! She bought some basic medical gear and then went to Home Depot and bought a caulking gun and some tubes of silicone caulking and started advertising! One might think that meeting a doctor in a hotel room was odd- but she DID get a bunch of customers- all of whom got shots of low cost silicone "Botox" to fill out lips and buttocks and breasts- yeah- she bought a LOT of Home Depot caulking and made good money till medical complications hit a couple of her customers and cops came calling!
RCMP warned us that police records-especially in India could not be relied upon as there was no central data base to look into- one had to travel to every single village that an immigrant MIGHT have committed a crime in- and look at the local records!
Its one reason why your credit card information is not safe- a minimum wage clerk is susceptible to being bribed or bullied into letting criminals set up card readers at gas stations and etc!
Nor did we have to put up with A Romanian cop on Toronto police force who has gang land pals who came here with him from the old country- that he stands accused of tipping off to cop investigations!
LIE-beral hiring practices mandate that non white people from third world countries get hiring preference over white people- which means that these third world types have access to all sorts of our personal information that THEY CAN SELL to Nigerian health card forgers!
In the old says we did not have to worry about an idiot Prime Minister inviting a Sikh terrorist along on a state visit to India!
In the old says we did not have to worry about biker chicks getting jobs at Pearson Airport and using their position to help their pals smuggle Jamaican drugs! And we certainly did not have to worry about LIE-beral judges whining it is unfair to fire the biker chicks simply because they are living with organized crime leaders- in LIE-beral world- guilt by association is not proof of anything!
In the miltary- its all very stark and simple- shoot anybody wearing the wrong colour uniform- but in the civilian world there is lots of room for mischief for those who hate white people and that is why ONLY Cdn born citizens should be allowed to become cops!
For that matter- it is the same justification for deciding that ONLY Cdn born citizens should be allowed to run in elections!
One has only to look at the mess in United States where local politicians- with pals in the community actively thwart federal cops by warning illegals of police raids!
Divided loyalties produce poisoned govt! Those who do not accept this are PART OF THE POISON!
