OK, so Im another kiwi living in Canada on a working holiday programme, I stay with a family who are also kiwi and canadian, but are kinda busy doing thier family thing, and Im not getting many opportunities to travel and meet other kiwis and canadians (we are the only kiwis in our city)
I was suppose to go travelling with a friend from NZ, but as it turns out, she decided to stay home, and I decided Id put too much into this trip not to go, a kind of lonely, brave and foolish decision at times. I would love to know if there are any people out there, who are in Alberta, and would have any good tips on meeting people, any good connections in terms of jobs and accomodation. Im kinda wanting to see the country and have a fun time doing it, but for the last couple of months I have been stuck in this town, which isnt that bad really, but I want to make the most of this opportunity.
SO to sum up my ramblings, I want to know good places to go, that have inexpensive accomodation, jobs, and where I can meet people and have heaps of fun, without being the looser that tries to hang on cause they have no mates :lol::lol:
