You make a good point Zzarchov

Perhaps the next time America embarks on an invaision on the basis of lies and hypocrisy candidates for the military should have a split-screen slide show presented to them.

On one side you could show burned children and amputated limbs on the other side you could show nice American children playing in a schoolyard....

We authorize the police (and in a better world...our military) to undertake the task of bringing justice to those who'd dismiss our ideas of justice and behave beyond the limits of those parameters we regard and endorse as legitimate legal and appropriate to this end.

Why don't we do the same thing when it comes to nations who break laws?

Why don't we prosecute Prime Ministers and Presidents when the decision of our elected representatives break our laws? Why do we tolerate the systematic erosion and destruction of human rights by some but not all?

Because when we invade a country who commits crimes against humanity by committing genocide on its own people,

then people scream out of the woodwork complaining about how civilians are now getting hurt in the crossfire, as if those gassed and bulldozed into a ditch somehow deserved their fate. Those who enabled the genocide are apparently the only ones worthy of protection.

I agree, Bush has definatly done alot of things worthy of a few court days in a War Criminal case. An Illegal war stands out most in my mind......Then all the deaths to civillians, the fact that he dissbanned the Iraq Military (the original one) caused huge destabliaztion.
