One in three is now 60%. Who knew?
That Vatican needs 66% before it is a 'majority', perhaps they went to the same school.
Only proves Germans aren't all there, out to lunch 10% of the time is still acceptable in this day and age. The ones that have time to take part are now unemployed Germans who are affected by the sanctions on Russian and Iran and Syria, for the most part.

They're right. Capitalism only works when its harnessed to nationally developed social principles and objectives, through regulation of markets, progressive taxation (especially on uneared capital gains) and public ownership of natural monopolies. Capital is utterly devoid of a conscience and must have one imposed on it by responsible government.

Free of this constraint it is an absolute disaster... it will stagger from crisis to crisis.. shock to shock.. before it collapses, usually in total war. That's the state of the world now under Global Free Markets.. which is characterised by radical polarization of wealth and massive disequilibriums and underutilization of productive capacity.

The 'Invisible Hand' of the Free Market is non-existent. Without reasoned moral management it is the Hand of the Devil.

There used to be political parties in British Columbia and Alberta under the "Social Credit" banner, but they didn't follow the principles of the concept. I believe that we'll never solve anything until we deal with the Banks and get back to a wealth based monetary system as opposed to a debt based system.

Of course they didn't. Political parties never do.

While I certainly feel banking reform is necessary, there were economic problems long before banks existed. If you think bringing down the EEE-vil bankers will solve all your problems, I won't be there with you.

I actually don't feel Bankers are evil - I used to be one. I acknowledge there were economic problems before the modern Banks were established, but Banking and commercial credit have little to do with whether our monetary system is debt based or wealth based. The main domestic activities of Banking would remain the same.

It actually exists. It was a program that was started during the Depression in Alberta.

Social Credit - The Debt Crisis
It wiped out persona dept for the residents, they could do no wrong after that move for about 30 years. (should have been 10 as it was taken out of the natural resources so actually it was the same old business, break the place and then come to the rescue while just happening to pay a penny on the dollar.to the 'residents'. Turning a blind eye at it's finest as the debt was a war debt.
