It's a lovely word. I just cringe when people mistake it for "defuse," or vice versa. Even if that is a good tell for the quasi-literate.It's a good word. I put it up at the top of my list along with bullshyte and fullon.

That Vatican needs 66% before it is a 'majority', perhaps they went to the same school. One in three is now 60%. Who knew?
Personally, I favor the "social credit" approach. We continue to debate socialism vs. capitalism. What about a third option Commonwealth (or Commonweal). I think this option best describes the system I'd like to see us adopt in Canada
Me too. I relate "Commonwealth to being the forerunner of Social Credit.Personally, I favor the "social credit" approach.
OK. I just made up "social credit," so we can have LOTS of fun with it.Me too. I relate "Commonwealth to being the forerunner of Social Credit.

While I certainly feel banking reform is necessary, there were economic problems long before banks existed. If you think bringing down the EEE-vil bankers will solve all your problems, I won't be there with you.I believe that we'll never solve anything until we deal with the Banks.
I actually don't feel Bankers are evil - I used to be one. I acknowledge there were economic problems before the modern Banks were established, but Banking and commercial credit have little to do with whether our monetary system is debt based or wealth based. The main domestic activities of Banking would remain the same.Of course they didn't. Political parties never do.

It wiped out persona dept for the residents, they could do no wrong after that move for about 30 years. (should have been 10 as it was taken out of the natural resources so actually it was the same old business, break the place and then come to the rescue while just happening to pay a penny on the dollar.to the 'residents'. Turning a blind eye at it's finest as the debt was a war debt.It actually exists. It was a program that was started during the Depression in Alberta.
