Yeah. I took first year chem in college. Made a foamy mess on the bench once while making sulfadrugs. Also did that while making nylon, too. Great fun. Scared hell outta physics lab by plugging a dc capacitor into the wall circuit. My own Big Bang theory. :D

we used to plug a 5000V DC generator into some extended leads with crocodile clips on them, attach them to the door handle linking the phys lab with the chem lab and knock on the door and wait for the chem teacher to come to answer it.
