however, I must admit that when I'm on the internet, I'm really not a good student. My brain just wont click into study mode when online. I learn better by book (yes, the traditional paperback kind that needs no electricity).
As for French, well, my written French is understandable, though may have many errors due to years of lack of practice. Where do you live, by the way, and what is your current level of French. Maybe I could help you with some language learning advice if I know your current situation, since I have tought myself language before, to fluency too. and what is your motivation for learning it (since motivation is important in language learning too). One technique I've often used once I'd learnt the fundamentals of the language, was to read books in the new language whcih I'd already read in another language, thus giving a comparison to work with, and then later move to other literature.
