And England took no shit today from the All Blacks and their annoying haka.

The haka often intimidates opponents and gives New Zealand an unfair advantage.

But England weren't intimidated today. They formed as V formation during the haka, and Farrell let out a menacing smirk as he watched it.

The pain, the pain.
Good for rugby.
A nation in mourning...
SAD

Just getting over your defeat against England in the Cricket World Cup final and then you lose against the same nation in the Rugby World Cup semi-final.

Still, looking forward to, hopefully, seeing England win a second World Cup in the same year next Saturday.

The so-called mighty All Blacks - even with the help of the officials, who did all they could to help them win by disallowing two perfectly good England touchdowns - could not beat England. New Zealand were completely outclassed. It took them 57 minutes to even get their first points. But even then, that came from a terrible English lineout, one of the few mistakes England made. If that lineout hadn't been so bad, the Kiwis would have been nilled.

I'm looking forward to England going level with Australia (1991 and 1999) and South Africa (1995 and 2007) with two Rugby World Cup wins, having won it in 2003, beating Australia in the Final in Sydney. The Aussie coach that day was Eddie Jones - who is now the England coach.

He's an Aussie who's half Japanese. He once coached Japan, too.
But not an Englishman.

Good to know that knowledge about Rugby flows into England from time to time.

Maybe, some East of West Indians will also show you guys how to play cricket.

We had an English coach when we won it in 2003.

As for the West Indians, they showed the world how to play cricket back in the 1970s. The Windies had some great sides then. Cricket World Cup Winners in 1975 and 1979, of course.

The Hondurans might get around to showing you how to play football some day, too.

Eddie also coached the Springboks.
His assistant coach, John Mitchell, is also an ex All Blacks coach.
14 out of the 24 counties coaches are Kiwi blokes, as are many players.

The most famous Kiwi coach that British rugby fans know about is Warren Gatland, the coach of Wales.

South Africa edge out Wales in tense match

Semi-final

Wales 16-19 South Africa

Wales's run also ended in the last four in the 1987 and 2011 editions of the tournament

Wales missed out on a first World Cup final in gut-wrenching fashion as Handre Pollard's 76th-minute penalty snatched victory for South Africa in a gripping semi-final to set up a showdown against England.

The first half was a war of attrition, three Pollard penalties giving the Springboks a 9-6 lead as they sought to overpower Wales up front and kick them into submission.

Dan Biggar dragged Wales level with a penalty early in the second half, but then Damien de Allende burst through the Welsh defensive line to put South Africa 16-9 ahead.

Wales sensed they had to go for broke and, after boldly opting for a scrum rather than a penalty in front of the posts against their hulking opponents, they worked the ball wide for Josh Adams to dive over for a converted try that made it 16-16.

That set up a captivating final 10 minutes in which Wales drove forward in desperate search of the score that would keep alive their hopes of ending Warren Gatland's reign with the ultimate prize in rugby.

Adams's try had drawn Wales level

But they were denied as Pollard struck a fourth and match-winning penalty in the 76th minute.

While South Africa can look forward to a final against England here in Yokohama next Saturday, Gatland's final game as Wales head coach will be the third-place play-off against his native New Zealand in Tokyo on Friday.

England fans take to Twitter to celebrate Farrell's defitant smirk during the haka in yesterday's World Cup semi-final:

Defiant: Billy Vunipola is told to step further away from New Zealand's haka ahead of the match
