When I think of domestication, I don’t think of the Dear Ol' Reverend Blair.

Funny, but I got the impression that the Rev was very domesticated. Maybe we all have different visions of domestication.....

Thanks Cosmo. I can completley relate to the quitting and hating it. I'm working on whether I hate not smoking or hate being addicted more. Hopefully with this enlightenment will come a sort of mental calm about the whole issue. I may also be able to give up the second hand smoke addiction that has occured in the void........

I have 1 huge fear about actually gaining weight. My fear is that I may not like it and then I won't be able to loose it. I think I may have a phobia about too much jiggle........

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Nervous yet? I just had my first nightmare about mine.

I'm the very model of a well-behaved husband.

Think I'll put on pants and go buy some beer.

well I'm easy going....for most of the month...

I think that it would have been a concern and proof of undomesticity if Rev had gone to the store with out pants on.

Na, Twila, not nervous at all. Just want to get the paperwork out of the way in case the crazies change the laws on us. It's a matter of waiting till Shell is well enough to do the deed.

As for Rev being domesticated ... with all the recipes you post and the stories about your home life, sounds to me like you've settled in quite comfortably to matrimonial bliss. Mrs. Rev is lucky ... sounds like you do your share of the cooking/housework/fur-kid care.

Even anarchists like the comforts of home, ya know! ;)

Housework is easy and...not to brag because I ain't exactly a chef...but I'm a way better cook than Mrs Rev.

We just grew up with this stuff. I have three brothers, no girls in the family, so the division of labour roughly broke down into load the dishwasher or shovel gravel. I've done both and loading the dishwasher is easier.

If you want to see true domestication, check out Zen. His cooking consists of a lot more than mixing hamburger with rice.

I too do the majority of the house work, and I'm a better cook (maybe) than my wife.

I just considered myself a "liberated" man.

I didn't...that's the magic of computers.

I am a better cook than Mrs. Rev though. All I need is a frying pan and some stuff. Or a frying pan and a pot if I'm making stew...although I'm sure you remember the pepper incident, Zen. Worst stew I ever tasted, never mind made.

Hmmm...think I'll make stew this weekend.

Hell....I can still taste the pepper stew. I pretty sure its the cause of the heartburn I feel today. I don't know ...unless Mrs. Rev has gotten worse over the years... :D

That was a one time incident, Zen. It was noteworthy though. I'm surprised we aren't dead. Jesus Christ that was bad. I don't even know how I did that...I'd only cooked stew a million times before.
