Close is good with curling and hand grenades they say. Argos were 15 yds away from a shot at a game winning field goal. Good on the Als for coming back from being down 18 at the half. Davis Alexander made plays when they needed them with several second and long completions although looks like...

Had to take another shot with Toronto +10.5 points and paying 4.5 to win in Montreal. Figured I would cover my bet with the spread if I don't win outright and nice payday if they do. Argos can win this game. Montreal has no run game and are dealing with a few injuries.

    Alberta GTFO?

I believe the Oilsands are pushing the limit on foreign controlled interest so in a way it would be supplying the infrastructure for them to export our oil.

    CFL

I guess they have it figured out but spotting the Argos 8.5 points and paying 4.00 to win are favourable odds imo. Argos are a good team and Kevin Mital is a beast. I have no concerns about Nick Arbuckle playing well. Davis Alexander is going to lose sooner or later and the Als are banged up...

    Rare Honor for Canada

Seems like a lot of pomp and expense for nothing of value. Thank the heavens they only sent 10.

Better turnout in Edmonton to see the Elks shit the bed. They have painted themselves into a corner as well with Ford when Fajardo is becoming a clearly better choice. That's what happens when the owners wife picks the team.

That was a butt ugly 400 yd passing game from Trevor Harris. Most of it late in the game. I would be playing Maier.

Replay center on top of their game today. Maybe they didn't know the game was rescheduled.

Riders imploding with style. Looks like a nice day though.

Big Ass Concrete Plant sitting on the ground near Tisdale

RB from time to time. I get alerts from a company in Montreal about used equipment. Seldom is it what I am looking for. I love cement silos and concrete plants.

Keeyask dam cost could reach $10.5 billion

Pensions rule the day at institutions like Manitoba Hydro. Nothing else matters unless it is a buyout. It's like they think they will all live forever and be healthy enough to spend their money. A fine example of corporate narcissism. Hire your brother goes a long way as well.

    CFL

Good to hear. The delay will favour the home team imo. Also poor scheduling by the CFL to go head to head with Craven when they could have just as easily played a road game. Crazy smoke in NW Ontario this morning after probably out best rain of the year yesterday.

Regina's Evraz steel mill conditionally sold to U.S. company Atlas Holdings

Interesting that Abramovich was involved and no doubt sold for pennies on the dollar. Not good that it is not Canadian owned but what else is new.

    Country Thunder

Noticed Jason Aldean played last night which I'm sure would have drawn a big crowd. I guess the smoke made no difference to them.

Keeyask dam cost could reach $10.5 billion

Premier Wab Kinew recently mentioned Manitoba Hydro owed $25 billion which is ridiculous for a utility company with no competition. Keeyask was easily twice the $10.5 billion they claim.

Big Ass Concrete Plant sitting on the ground near Tisdale

Another new concrete plant yet to be set up located in Bonnyville, Alberta. Very nice complete setup asking $1 mil. No doubt someone had plans for it up there but maybe a cancelled project. It could pay for itself fast with the right job and kind of surprised to see it available.

    CFL

Can't remember a CFL game being postponed to the next day and wondering if the air quality is going to meet the test today. No doubt there will be added expenses for all involved and not sure if Craven going on empties out Regina or fills it up. My guess is it might be on the quiet side although...

So many story lines to a Riders / Stamps matchup and not a game to be taken lightly by either side. Sask was a -5 favorite earlier today with Calgary paying 2.75 to win the game. I went with Calgary and like my chances. Hamilton won't want to lose at home to Ottawa and probably won't. -5 is not...

    2024 Stock Market

Holcim just completed the spin off of North American operations which immediately places the new company Amrize as the continents largest cement producer among other things and really plays well into Trumps idea of America first imo. Previously most visible in Canada as Lafarge who merged their...
