Canada’s Oil And Gas Sector Sees Record Job Losses

That announcement was from Nov. 17, 2020. Post US election and six months from the project being abandoned. Money is like water to these people.

Canada’s Oil And Gas Sector Sees Record Job Losses

More stuff you'll have a hard time finding the true story about. Lets round it off and call it $10 billion wasted on pipelines for zero return. Oh well.

The Origin of the Wuhan Coronavirus

News today that the Chinese had the run of the Level 4 Federal Virology Lab in Winnipeg is disappointing to say the least. Not surprising though.

Canada’s Green Shift Could Displace Three-Quarters Of Oil Workers

I was told years ago from a pipeline guy that small scale, individual use is negligible compared to industrial usage. You do make a good point about planes. Advances in hydrogen fuel are also nearing commercial use.

    CFL 2021

Could search it but think ABC / ESPN owned some of TSN at one time and is one of the reasons the CFL does not play on Sundays. So do they also discourage television coverage in the States through TSN having exclusive rights. The television deal with TSN is the root of many problems.

    CFL 2021

University level coaching is what Americans get from the specialty high school programs. The transition to high level post secondary is much easier. Knowing the system is everything. It's a longer, harder road in Canada and the CFL has stopped developing players with the one year deals. This is...

Canada’s Green Shift Could Displace Three-Quarters Of Oil Workers

Actually I would like to be able to do that. One thing the Indigenous people got right.

Tesla on autopilot crashes into Michigan cop’s patrol car

Tesla dropping the plaid model from the lineup for now. 570 km range and 0 - 60 in two seconds. Not sure the world needs that kind of speed so readily available although I guess it is transportation.

Canada is getting a new holiday to honour residential school survivors

Nobody can deal with a stat holiday like a Canadian civil servant. Monday / Friday no problem because they never have anything that matters to do. Holidays give them meaning. Ironically the guy building the better mouse trap doesn't care to take holidays because he is busy doing something that...

    Public Education in 2020

Ontario calls it a day on the school year. Pass everyone, have a great summer. Nothing accomplished, $25 billion spent. Start again in September. Step one is admitting there is a problem.

Trudeau says bonuses Air Canada paid to execs while negotiating a government bailout are 'completely unacceptable'

No different than Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley among other grredy dirt bags that were bailed out in 2008 and still awarded multi millions in bonuses. Michael Moore has a film on that.

WE really need to get rid of this guy

Canadians get about 1/3 of the story. Odd how we tolerate such levels of elitism. Get ready for Ben Mulroney

    CFL 2021

I have worked with many and they are enthusiastic sports fans who have had little exposure to the opportunity to learn and play. Ability and interest is not the problem. And Indigenous people would support them which translates into fast cash for the CFL. Instead they have skills competitions in...
