hi sanctus. nice to see you again
those bars sound delicious :) I've had bison meat on many occassions and it's delicious. So are cranberries... I expect the combination would be very good.
I've read that if you edit your registry you can remove unwanted processes from running in the background. I am sure there are many unwanted processes set to run in the background on my computer but I don't know how to know which ones they are, or which ones will destroy my computer if i remove...
this is nonsense. "contrails" are often the nucleation sites for clouds, some of which grow to cover the entire sky in any one place, so you can't say that contrails disappear after 10-15 minutes. Often they don't disappear, they actually linger and grow.
and what's the actual evidence that...
I've found a new periodic table, and to some extent, I am converted.
To refresh your memory, the standard IUPAC periodic table looks like this:
Now this one's just fine for most purposes, but it gets a bit confusing when you're dealing with electronic configurations of elements. for the...
Today a man named tony filbin, who lives on third street in sheffield, missouri and has a hexagonal window on the front door, which could easily be broken down with a crowbar, and a nice white fence which would be perfect for graphitti-ing "pervert" on, was arrested on charges of sexual assault...
This is a topic i've always been interested in, but also always a littl ignorant of it, but the time seems to be right for us to watch this space.
The heaviest elements found in nature are uranium, neptunium and plutonium. But these aren't the heaviest elements found.

clouds can form and un-form too. if the pressure drops, so does the amount of water vapour which the air can hold. if the pressure rises, condensed droplets, or ice crystals can become re-vapourized. if an ice crystal gets large it will fall and melt, becoming part of a lower cloud system...
the picture is a cloud, probably cumulonimbus or maybe just a large cumulus. Please note the rain coming out if it. I should also add that not all clouds are made of snow, some are simly small rain droplets.
your questionnaire will not tell you very much. It limits people's choices. For instance, you ask "what do you think of the colour red in beverage packaging" (or something like that). My answer would be that I try to buy my food and drink items based on prior experience and taste. I tend to...
Now i'm not sure how many posts CC gets per day, but I noticed today that we're into the 900,000's, which means there's a milepost looming. One day, sometime fairly soon, someone will make the 1,000,000th post.
What will the prize be?
I got the offer today. I'm to become a chemistry instructor in newfoundland. It's a permanant faculty position. I couldn't have dreamed for anything better.
I'm over the moon.
It does mean moving to the other end of Canada by monday week, though :0)

A schoolboy was given an unexpected surprise for his 16th birthday when a stripper turned up in his drama class.
The stripper - dressed as a policewoman - had been booked by the boy's mother, who had apparently asked for a "gorilla"...
I just found this article online:
I'm rather shocked to find it. First: why does anyone except the diabetic and their guardians (if they are young or infirm) need to know how to deliver an insulin shot? I've often met people who believe that if a diabetic is found in what the nurses insist on...

Support for breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is certainly good for infants. But is it bad for a mother's figure?
Apparently not, according to a new study that dispels the old myth that breastfeeding contributes to sagging breasts.
In the study, led by Brian Rinker...
