A refreshing change on the campaign trail — crystal clear answers from a politician

The Liberal party has historically not backed their leaders when defeated. They sometimes don't back them when they win. I don't think Creitien really left on his own terms. Martin showed him the door.

A refreshing change on the campaign trail — crystal clear answers from a politician

If I understand Canadian law, even if Trudeau gets less seats than O'Toole, he still gets first crack at getting "the confidence of the house". Even if its a Conservative majority, he gets first crack since he is defending PM. In a case of a clear defeat, he would tell the GG he cannot get...

Anti-covid David beats the pro covid Goliath.

If this is true, the only conclusion I can draw is the Alberta Minister of Health is an idiot. He should never have entered the courtroom without his government funded lawyer and an entourage of medical experts. Of course, "Source: Internet" may just say it all.

    Note to Anti-Vaxxers

The CDC has changed its position several times which adds to the confusion and the perception of mis-information.

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

The only claim that one could make (and it would be on very shaky ground) was that by fixing the CO2 hurricanes like Ida would be less frequent. But should a hurricane like that actually hit, it would cause damage ... unless his plan is to rebuild the entire area underground or something.

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

Right, TrueDope didn't know. He just has ordered his latest lakie to take the heat for him.

Trudeau Liberals surge ahead over Conservatives

So let's measure the carbon footprint for just this scene. One truck to drive the stairs to the plane and then of course the plane. And if I am not mistaken they use 2 planes. But it is important we pay and extra 12 cents per litre of gas to save the environment.

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

If he was against vaccines or was one of the covid-isn't-real nuts, yes, I think he should be vetoes. But lockdowns are a more political tool and not a reason for disqualification.

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

He was shown to the Liberal sword and asked to do a bellyflop on it.

Canada getting vaccine passport for international travel

People still are. But it is your choice. But don't complain if you can't go to a restaurant or a concert or a ballgame.

Canada getting vaccine passport for international travel

If the vaccinated are not getting sick, who gives a fuck if they are spreading? If you don't want to get sick, get vaccinated. Otherwise take your chances and live by your choices.

Ontario optometrists withdraw OHIP-covered services after breakdown in talks

In Ontario, assuming you are over 19, none of that is refundable by the government. I think OHIP will pay $50 for a person under 19 to have a checkup once a year (or is it 2?). My guess is the difference between the $50 and the $95 is what they are grumbling about.

    US/Mexico border wide open

When I crossed at the Peace Bridge in July, there were 2 cars with 1 booth open. The trucks were separate. They looked more normal. Same at Queenston/Lewiston in early August going to the states. There was a work to rule the other way and there was a huge line. But TrueDope caved after 1 day and...

    #BidenLied - buyer's remorse sets in

I got to travel beside the Liberal Campaign Bus Today

It's actually corrupt OR stupid I think. If they are stupid, they are not smart enough to be corrupt. Count how many millions will vote for them this election and you know there is a big pool to choose from.

Trudeau Liberals surge ahead over Conservatives

Our current MP is unlikely to get my vote. The only time we hear from him is during an election call. Last election I emailed all the candidates on behalf of me and my son (his first election) and we got to do a phone call/interview with one and the other actually came to visit our house. The MP...

Trudeau Liberals surge ahead over Conservatives

I always make my decision on the walk to the polling booth. I sometimes have an idea but I use that last walk to clear my head and ponder and make the choice.

    Canada /US border closed..

It is only closed to non-essential travel. If you are a trucker or an American citizen you can cross anytime. I've been down to the USA twice this summer by car since I am married to an American.

Baby on Cover of Nirvana's Album "Nevermind" Suing

His lawyers claim the dollar bill in the pic makes the baby look like a sex trade worker. All about $$$$$. What do you call 1000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start.
