Or C-mas as we like to call it --- c'mon, sing along.... "on the 7th day of C-mas my party gave to meeeee .... 7 commenters commenting, 6 official candidates. FIIIIIVVE of whom can't wiiiiiiiinnnnnn (yeash.) Four months of waiting, three crap debates, two liberal-lites ... and a ballot...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

Plenty mention it... but the left doesn't like to acknowledge it. 50 doctors in bc paid for a billboard saying "we can go back to work tomorrow, let us help" and the gov't is silent. The media doesn't mention it much either

Canada set for ‘unprecedented’ home price drop by early 2023: TD Bank

Well sort of. Hard to say a little. Property taxes are based on the percieved value of the property, but they lag about a year in most places. So they'll theoretically come down a bit. Assuming the local authority doesn't raise the percent. And people won't feel it for at least a year and a...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

Well BC has done that before - and i suspect the next opposition leader will run his next election on that to a large degree. But that's just one province. The problem is the federal tax levels were set with the fact they'd transfer funds in mind. The provinces can't just arbitrarily raise...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

Well some are moving that way but then the feds get involved again. Ontario wants to look at having the private sector build the facilities they can't afford to right now and staff them with the understanding the province will pay for each patient, no private medicine (as defined by the health...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

It's a wonderful little game of pass the hot potato. The provinces say it's a federal funding issue, nothing they can really do. The feds say it's a provincial provisioning issue, nothing they can really do. The municipalities say it's a provincial health authority issue, nothing they can do...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

We want nothing to do with your spinning devil birds, :) Igor Sikorsky was satan's servant, everyone knows that. Some provinces do use helicopters but lets face it - if we can't keep enough ambulences staffed and on the road there's little chance we'll be able to afford or provision...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

I agree. But if others do and they win the vote we can at least consider it at that point. But there is NO excuse for allowing your people to die while you fail to produce the necessaries of life and at the same time put 800 million into lesbian dance theory.

GOLDSTEIN: Canada’s divider-in-chief is Trudeau, not Poilievre

It's not that he's an idiot. We've had idiots before, idiots are survivable. What he is doing will cause irreperable harm to Canada that cannot be undone for at least a generation. You need to understand that virtually ANY choice is better. I'd vote for Jagmeet if i thought it would get rid of...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

Yeah, this is the thing. A gov't needs to focus on the basics before it worries about the luxuries, and right now we're in crisis in Canada with the boomers retiring and the healthcare system failing (yes, they're directly related). That's where our money should go at least until we're not...

8-month-old baby dies in B.C. community where no ambulance was available

Well regardless of intent the results are speaking for themselves and pretty much nation wide. It's not even an uncommon story anymore.

Canada set for ‘unprecedented’ home price drop by early 2023: TD Bank

https://globalnews.ca/news/9092242/canada-home-price-drop-2023-td-bank/ "A report by TD Bank suggests the average price of a home in Canada could fall 20 to 25 per cent from its peak seen earlier this year to the first quarter of 2023" Young home buyers getting excited intensifies... "The...

I actually think there's a good chance that it'll go to round 2. There's a lot of people who want PP to win and expect him to, but put someone else as their first choice knowing they won't win but wanting to show support. I think the first out will be scott - and i don't think his supporters...

Justin Trudeau's hands-off approach to inflation is becoming untenable

And if there's one liberal mantra that's always been their creed is "do whatever you have to to stay in power." They don't go to the polls without a serious advantage or unless they absolutely have to. I dunno - maybe they're just not able to deliver on the NDP deal and they're getting ready...

Justin Trudeau's hands-off approach to inflation is becoming untenable

Maybe - but both have issues. IF there's internal fighting usually we signs of it and you get individuals piping up. On the flipside if they're all on board with an election there would be other signs that the party is planning something (just like last time) and that's not really showing up...

Kelly McParland: How decades of Liberal indifference created Danielle Smith

The only time in history when seperation sentiment was high enough that it might actually have succeeded was just before Harper was elected. (at least - that we know of from actual polling). However - it is common for strong anti-eastern sentiment to be prevelant. BC would likely back efforts...

GOLDSTEIN: Canada’s divider-in-chief is Trudeau, not Poilievre

That has traditionally been true. Canadians are most united when they are left alone to live their lives

Well we are now under 2 weeks for the leadership race conclusion. It's been pretty static as far as the polls can tell, without a lot of movement and with Pierre clearly in the lead. No word yet on how many ballots have been returned but based on past years and by the number of memberships sold...

WE really need to get rid of this guy

That's to be expected - the gov't itself is overpriced and absolute garbage.
