That's an interesting and informative article. But I have a caveat. . . it's not the President's job to read the polls and do whatever they purport to favor. And a wise President (rare beast indeed!) thinks of these issues in terms just a tad more complex than "Good guys GOOD! Bad guys BAD!"

Funny how it devolves. "Kill all the Jews!" is clear and self-evident. "From the river to the sea" takes a little more interpretation. Nice little power play. Take what themmuns say, proclaim it REALLY means this-or-that, and condemn, deride, and ban it as hate speech.

Every social problem should be addressed at the lowest level that is effective to address the problem. Given that everybody lives someplace, "provincial" level sounds about right for this one. I strongly doubt that Ottawa is better positioned to administer pharmacare than Edmonton.
