I tried to read this link. I gave up after about the third torture/procedure. I don't have the stomach for this. They were sick fucks. If it were up to me, I would have burned their records without reading. The price of the knowledge was just too great.

If the school wants to take the position of not telling the parents what the kid wants, they also should take the position that they aren't going to do anything to support or help the kid (or discourage or hinder either) with the transition. Completely hands off. Once they get their hands dirty...
