    Rapporteur David Johnson, Eminent Canadian

The USA has checks and balances to ensure the maximum number of lunatics are involved in the process. We only have the 1.

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

Not according to my facebook feed. Several otherwise perfectly respectable friends keep posting anti-PP memes (no doubt originally Chinese).

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

There are people who are convinced that any Conservative is bad and therefore they need to vote Liberal regardless.

    Maternity Mistreatment

I don't believe i said it was good treatment. My point is bad treatment happens.

    Maternity Mistreatment

In Canada this summer, my wife had chest pains. She buzzed. They came on the intercom and asked. We waited about an hour for someone to show up. The nurse was short staffed. She had 9 or 10 patients. So a missed buzzer is not going to get me thinking about poor treatment. As hospitals tend to...

    Maternity Mistreatment

Having been through some hospital stays this summer with my wife, often there is no response or delayed response to the buzzer. From what I gather the nurses normally have 6 patients per nurse (in USA they had 4) and this assumes everybody shows up for work. So I think everybody who is in the...

    Maternity Mistreatment

This is a survey result about perception of mistreatment rather than clearly identified mistreatment. While in some cases, perceived mistreatment came from real mistreatment, it is likely not always the case. I think one would need to study the bias for perceiving mistreatment from each of these...

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

I know you are trying to be funny. I do like the believe there is still a place on the political spectrum (not well populated mind you) called the middle. This is where I see myself. I probably lean right on some issues and left on others. But never to either extreme. As to this issue, I see...

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

Do you seriously think we have enough forests to provide firewood to every home in Canada and/or the USA which requires heating? Also burning firewood also releases CO2 in the atmosphere so is not carbon friendly.

Aside from natural gas or oil, your other option is electricity. Not sure where TB lives, but that would never be considered cheap in Ontario.

    Trudeau’s Newest New Carbon Tax

The whole point of this stupid tax, if you believe them. is to make gas so expensive it is economically unviable to drive. It has nothing to do with gas company profits. Why does he care that it got passed to consumers? Idiot.

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

I think the question is how big a poison pill are we willing to take to fight climate change if the results of our action have little effect? If China was truly on board and was going to be taking the same pill together, then yes we should all just gulp and swallow. But if it is being sold as we...

The only people I have ever heard use it are these zero oil people. One can infer the direction and destination from that context.

I love the "China is leading the way" argument. I wonder if she was mentalfloss? A country which is still building coal power plants weekly is not leading the way anywhere.

    Black Lives Matter-Ugliness of Racism.

I don't think pre-medidation is in question here. The officer obviously intended to shoot if he got threatened, The question was he threatened? He put himself in a position to be threatened by standing in front of the car. But I tend to think he could have just as easily jumped to the side and...

CTV reporter injured covering crash seeks $15.7M in lawsuit

I bet any money she was a contract or freelance reporter for CTV which likely excludes workers comp. Not sure about the law here about workers comp and suing. I know here suit against the driver won't get too much. Vehicular accidents payouts are highly regulated in theory to keep premiums low...
