Ok Ok valid points, but why were the horses there? It created room for the police line to move forward to push the protestors back as seen in all videos that the police were moving forward in conjunction with the horses charging through the protestors

You can clearly see the last 2 horses went on both sides of the man in front of her that the other ones brushed causing the inside horse to run into her

If one pays close attention the police line started moving forward at the same time which could have made the last horses move toward the protesting crowd. As one can see the man in front of her was brushed a couple of times before the last horse veered toward the protesting crowd to avoid him
