Well isn't that one of the main things they are trying to accomplish in Copenhagen? Underdeveloped nations want massive emission restrictions and if developed nations go over and above the developed nations have to pay... pay underdeveloped nations. That is just pay with no monitoring...

Ok...it really doesnt matter because the politicians have taken it over and it seems the scientist have no say. There is not really much dispute from them either. They want the sacking to begin with or without China.

That is what Copenhagen is all about. You can hear the representatives of the underdeveloped countries on NPR saying they want money. They are even bickering on who should get the biggest cut. And CHINA! The thought of even giving them developed nation status is cowardly. Climate Change folks...

I do have a wonderful little noggin... so thank you. I just don't see how forcing developed nations to give billions (maybe trillions) of dollars to underdeveloped nations is going to change the climate.

I am just curious about the payout that underdeveloped nations are going to get. I am hoping for a non-binding resolution so it is as toothless as Kyoto. Do you think the folks at Copenhagen have the guts to lift China and India from the underdeveloped nation status?

And we all know that local conditions are a no-no when talking about climate change. Particularly when your freezing your nuts off or shoveling 2' of Cold White GW residue from your driveway.

That has always been the case. That is why they have been given the under developed nation status. No matter how much the world howls India and especially China will ignore them. Every parent knows to ignore a whining child. The U.S has not realized that yet. We have a lot to learn from India...

Ok...climate change is as real as it has been for millions of years. So some scientist are saying that we are warming the planet. Why is the main goal of Copenhagen, so far as I can tell by listening to NPR radio which is a close to left wing radio as you can get to get the western nations...
