End of the 1rst half and the Cats actually are in the lead 10 - 7. Really like how they have been able to contain Andrew Harris in the first half - if they can keep that up they might just have a chance. Dane was taken out in the 2nd Q after an illegal, actually 2 illegal hits to the head...
Actually that could be fun. Love to watch the NFL players get used to 3 down ball - should be a hoot. ;);) And let us not forget the extra 30 yards on the field. I'd tune in for that.
I always have and always will oppose expansion, Tec for the very reason you cited. It would be like David without a shot against Goliath. The NFL is just too powerful compared to our wee league. The CFL will either flourish or die on its own and that is the way it should be.
Well IRBS, I respect your decision. CFL football means a lot to me and it has taken a real hit with Covid etc., etc. Even though my team didn't make it, I will still support them. I think it is important and well worth my time.
I really enjoyed Duthie's interview with Mike O'Shea (Bomber's HC). I do admire his coaching abilities and he deserves all the credit due him. Under his steady hand the Bombers had an absolutely outstanding season. If they end up hosting the Cup today, I will applaud them.
Oh my heart and soul are firmly in the hands of my Riders, Tec. I've followed the Ti-Cats for years now. There is something about that team and their fans that reminds me a lot of my Riders and Rider Nation.
That said: GO CATS!!!!!
VS
GO TIGER CATS GO!
Leave it all on the field lads.

I actually think most Canadians would be very happy to see Canada rid of the Indian Act if they knew how beneficial it would be for all concerned, Tec. But then, I am a glass half full type of person. :)
Chris Sankey: Those who support protests and blockades are doing a disservice to Indigenous people
We are pushing for equity ownership in the projects that extract resources from, or run through, our territories. Yet the protesters threaten to take all of that away

No pardon needed and I could not agree more with your statements, Tec. And once again I lay much of the blame for the current situation regarding blockades and protests on the media who do nothing but fan the flames of dissension and discord by failing to adequately and fairly cover both sides...
That is a rather distorted view of what is actually happening, OP. Until the release and publication of the letter by the Wet'suwet'en yesterday it is the other side that have been in the news almost daily with no due diligence whatsoever on the part of media to check the outrageous claims...
When dealing with 'outsiders' it is normally the Chief with the backing of the band council who represent the community. For the most part, it seems to work well for many of the bands in Canada. Then there is the AFN who are supposed to represent all bands in Canada when dealing with the Feds...
