@B00Mer Aha. I also had the CCP Virus but from the end of January and fought it off for 10 days. Caught it in Cuba from my brother who I rendezvoused with; he got it from his best mate. Positive antibody tests confirmed.

@B00Mer Australia has shutdown to incoming foreign visitors until at least sometime in late 2021. I just did 2 weeks quarantine upon arrival from Europe recently. Did you end up staying home for 2 weeks after coming back from Mexico?

There are always multiple backups from a few times over the past week hosted in different geographical locations.

@Mockingbird if the site were ever to shut down, there would be ample notice and an option to download any data you'd like, at the minimum.

I can happily report that the forums are now served over encrypted connections only: you can see that the URLs are now https:// instead of http://. And apologies it took so long.

Thanks a lot, @Ocean Breeze ! I'm still working on customizing it to something that doesn't look like very many other message boards (something I've been doing since the 2000s), so stay tuned and there might be a few more improvements.

Also, I brought the forums offline so that I could go through the posts and fix a leftover from vBulletin whereby YouTube links posted were not embedding properly in xenforo. It didn't catch all of the videos but it did get most. Regular Expression...

I've been doing some work in the background which may have locked the database. Please let me know if this continues while I'm not around.

Welcome. We've successfully migrated from an ancient version of vBulletin to XenForo. Almost everything has been migrated over but I do expect there to be some odd things from time to time, so please let me know your comments, issues and suggestions in this thread. I do plan tweaking the look...
