Most of the used fighter jets bought by Canada are still not in service, MPs hear

Guy said it came out of a truck. Haven't checked the casting numbers. Sounds like one more thing Petros knows. You remind me of the Zoltar machine from the movie Big. Finding the right cam shaft drove me crazy on the 283. I am guessing it will be the same with the 350 although I have been told...

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

Checking in on Iceland and see they have 5000 doses of the Phizer vaccine that they will start dispensing after Christmas and 8000 doses arriving in January. Sounds like prudent management compared to Canada's 446,000 doses now. It's not just the money but also the chaos and distraction. If...

Most of the used fighter jets bought by Canada are still not in service, MPs hear

The spider sense was tingling. Bought myself a 1973 350 with the 4 bolt main setup out of the blue today. Couldn't resist and quite pleased at this point. Wondering how many times I will move it around the garage before it gets used. The plan is to upgrade a 283 for the jet boat. Life is short.

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

Hindsight being 20/20, it may have been better to leave the global vaccine distribution for the WHO to look after. Now that there has been approvals there seems to be no issue getting supply. Every country on their own bidding prior to approval just made big pharma big money. Global...

It's Official: Solar Is the Cheapest Electricity in History

I agree about nuclear power but don't know the actual megawatt count. Nuclear has had it's chances but the industry suffers from gigantic setbacks time after time and everyone hates uranium. Maybe someday there will be no other answer and people get on board. One thing about Three Gorges...

It's Official: Solar Is the Cheapest Electricity in History

Doesn't mention the structure is failing, just that there is too much water. They need to get the Manitoba NDP in there to dig a diversionary relief channel

It's Official: Solar Is the Cheapest Electricity in History

In the case of Three Gorges, flooded villages as well. Strategically located and planned they have less impact and can pack a big punch.

    Public Education in 2020

Ontario considering not returning in 2021 after 3 months of dicking around with quarantines and social distancing accomplishing nothing except all the educators being paid in full. No discussion related to classroom sizes. There are not enough streets in the world to be renamed in honour of the...

It's Official: Solar Is the Cheapest Electricity in History

Three Gorges Dam has the solar industry beat by itself. Heard it from the top that "water can be counted on". Also greener than the solar panel business.

    Ginseng

Was told that ginseng grown for 7 years has different beneficial properties from ginseng grown only two years. Research was related to developing a cold weather energy source for military applications. Never amounted to anything in Canada but became a popular energy bar in Korea circa 1990...

Top civil servants getting chauffeured on your dime

Bet there is someone with a sweet gig selling and servicing these limos. Would be something that never goes for tender. Average Canadian doesn't even know what they don't know due to the misinformation policy of our leaders. Works for them.

Canada inks deal with U.S. to send astronaut around the moon

Trudeau is a puppet for the banks. His job is to spend and is as good as anyone I have ever seen. A trip around the moon won't cost much more than a billion or so. I see no benefit to an eye witness account. I vote for sending Julie if we have to send someone. Space station party !!

True character trait of a Canadian is in their willingness to take on fixer-uppers. Goes well with loving a bargain and thinking we can fix anything.
