    Get ready for CPP2

Ideally all government employees would revert to the CPP at age 71. To implement a system and then say the system is not good enough for me is a bit hypocritical imo. Of course our decision makers are already in the top 1% of earners. It always makes me smile when I am told it is an equivalent...

    Banks or Gangs

Banks and gangs are the same thing. They are the #1 injustice facing everyday Canadians sucking 50 billion from the economy every year in profits. From the beginning of time it has been the banker, the lawyer, and the politician. Still the same.

    2024 Stock Market

Even the high end guys are going broke. Tantalus Labs recently added to that list. Of course someone is buying all those up. AVNT,TO is one. 1.25 million short shares listed for Tilray as of last Dec.15. The U.S. going legal would alleviate that. Right now they have it about as low as it can go...

What are you listening to right now?

I've ended up with a lot of records and some that I have never listened to before so you have to listen to decide if they are any good. Jerry Lee Lewis was very good. Other current favorites are Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Steve Miller Band. Key to everything is the Clairtone console...

WE really need to get rid of this guy

They have the Conservatives winning 191 seats to the Liberal 83 seats so there is room for the Conservatives to give up a few seats. Not that there is a party in place to take advantage of the regional support.

WE really need to get rid of this guy

Looking at the map it is not unrealistic that a Western party could win 50 - 60 seats by just being on the ballot. Conservatives still win the election but now they have to be accountable to their support. The big majority is never a good thing imo.

    Trudeau’s Newest New Carbon Tax

Curious how much last nights fireworks around the world contributed to global warming? Yes it is pretty but it is over faster than sex. Seems like something we could just say no to.

Everything's Broken - latest Polievre youtube short

I have questions about the consumer driven "open banking" changes recently voted in and now in place. First off when they say "consumer driven" that is the last thing that is usually happening. My guess is more along the lines of freeing up the banks to sell information as if they aren't doing...

Two years into the Trudeau 2.0 Minority Term, which day will Justin call the election that only he wants?

Singh will continue to have Sikh terrorist support and win a few seats on that but the hi-jinks as a stay at home dad masquerading as a concerned leader of a political party is wearing thin and has basically killed off the NDP party. Of course he needs to differentiate now to attempt to appear...

WE really need to get rid of this guy

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland has approved RBC's $13.5-billion takeover of HSBC Canada, despite calls from opposition politicians and other groups to block it over concerns of reduced competition. Freeland's approval was the last hurdle for the deal after the Competition Bureau approved it...
