Agreed. Which does NOT mean I'll agree with you on whether a given event or practice "endangers" a child. But when the event or practice is a major change to the kid's biochem and/or anatomy absent a clear danger to the kid, the state has an interest that overrides that of the parents or the kid.

Thank you. Nice and specific. I might have some issues with some of the provisions, but it's a big improvement on "anything that pisses off the current government." Will they change the wording to "His Majesty" officially, or is it understood it applies to the monarch regardless and only said...

Hmm. . . should it worry me that I agree with Dix? Always said the difference between pre-pubescent boys and girls was pretty much academic. If they wanna dress or act like another gender, fine. Messing with their biochem is not a good idea. Without a better argument than what I've heard...

    Objection to some astronomers.

Yep, that'd apply to any religion. Even Buddhism, ironically. Well, except some of the old religions. They had no "Thou shalt not kill" BS. I believe their commandment was "If ya kill him, make sure to get his buddy, too."

Heck, I foresaw all the significant events of the past!

To be fair, Allah is no more responsible for that than the Christian god or Jesus is responsible for genocide, slavery, or child molestation.

Is there a specific definition of "treason" in Canadian law?

    There is the evidence.

That's a tautology. "I could say fairies make the flowers grow. The existence of flowers does not prove the existence of fairies." --James P Hogan

    I'll be damned. Torchy's a Canadian Conservative!

On the upside, you won't be there. I'd rather spend eternity with Dex and Serryah than you and your cohort of fanatics. You're boring.

You are useful for getting a look into the current right-wing Canadian propaganda.

    Jeepers!

Ah, the creep-into-the-water-gradually type. Well, I'm reminded of the two bulls standing on the hillside overlooking a herd of cows. The young bull says "Hey, old bull, we're gonna run down there and fuck us one o' them cows!" The old bull shakes his head and says "No, son. We're gonna WALK...

Why? Did he break a law? If so, he should be in jail. On jail is usually off-limits to anybody but corrections employees or contractors under supervision.

None that I know of, and irrelevant. Nice of you to join me in "lost," if that's what you call crossing threads. Some of us are smart enough to handle it without whining.

    Objection to some astronomers.

Good point. Torchy, I can't recollect anybody here telling you what you should believe. Just pointing out that your fairy tale's no better'n anybody else's, and repetition don't add truth value. Neither does insistence. You're humping a dry hole.

Don't need to. Dealt with the effects of BRACC action for a long time. Know it better'n you ever could.
  18. Tecumsehsbones

    2SLGBTQQIA+

In Canada maybe. In the U.S. it's the Base Realignment and Closure Commission, or BRACC.

The Army? Hell, no! My nonexistent kid is gonna be SPAAAAAACE FOOOOOORCE!

No. The Base Realignment and Closure Commission. No. I doubt it. No.
