Jeremy Hunt narrowly avoided becoming the first Chancellor of the Exchequer to lose his seat. In his victory speech he congratulated PM-elect Keir Starmer and Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves and said how proud he is to live in a country in which "bombs and bullets do not decide elections."
