    For some reason, the ones BC Transit tried in the buses did not work out so well. We were supposed to get a hydrogen highway from Whistler to Seattle. They claimed excessive maintenance and downtime. As I recall, they scrapped the hydrogen buses instead of converting them to diesel.

    Not tax money. All that was really required was policy changes that made it possible for business to operate. Not gobs of tax money to favoured businesses. Like giving Loblaws, one of the most profitable grocery chains in the country, taxpayers' money to improve their freezers.
