Public Inquiries into Emergencies Act begin September 19

So it’s Sept 21st now….so where are we at on the Public Inquiry into the Emergencies Act again??? Currently Trudeau’s in NY at the UN, & Singh is attacking the Conservatives because they’re also the opposition to the currently governing party? Makes sense? During his almost eight years as...

Ditto. Totally agree. Tomato/Tomoto. People see what they wanna see. I’m seeing a walking accident waiting to get sucked into a machine by the wig or dangly whatever around her neck….& you were seeing big boobs. Totally agree with you there too!!

This isn’t about Trans anything. This is an entitled attention whore looking for a pay-out and daring anyone to not respect her rights.

It’s a blind eye to avoid the law suit they’re expecting if they say or do anything, or the human rights tribunal where the accused is guilty until proven innocent unlike an actual real court. Damn the students, or the inquiries from their parents, ‘cuz they aren’t the ones with the big stick...

Well, according to Margo Shuttleworth, chair of the school board, stated that they were “creating a safety plan” for both THE TEACHER and the anticipated protest which was one guy out on the sidewalk with a flag….at a distance behind the police officers out on the sidewalk. Not a safety plan...

Well, she really identifies as a she, but anyway… Yeah, it is a choice by so many on so many levels in this one example in this one situation. The school board has made the choice not to take the chance of getting sued, and is blowing off the students parents as the safest option in dealing...

I just googled and apparently this school does have a dress code. Apparently it’s for the students though and not this particular shop teacher. I still think it’s funny. http://www.hdsb.ca/our-board/Policy/SchoolDressCode.pdf

The question is (personally I don’t care if he or she is trans), this is a big accommodation needed by this one teacher by the rest of the entire staff, entire student body, the entire school board, the security & police out front to fend off that one guy who came to protest probably….& to what...

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

I’ve already kissed the street parking goodbye. Three couples (so six people) moved into the upper portion of the Up/Down Duplex next door….& they have six vehicles….on a 25’ wide lot. It’ll be interesting at -45°C….

WE really need to get rid of this guy

Hmmm….Jagmeet is coming out as the opposition to the other opposition to the government. Weirdly….weird. The Liberals and the New Democratic Party (NDP) wasted no time in attacking new Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre on the first day of the fall session in Parliament. In a rare move, the...

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

Would they mow their lawn? Would they give two shits? Would they shovel their sidewalks? Would they be good neighbours? Take pride in ownership? If so, I’m game. The Vietnamese neighbour brings Gibsons to our deck, & the Chinese neighbours are doing home renovations right now (We set them up...

I agree, & thus the five fires (2 in garages & 3 in “empty” houses…& two of those in the same house about a week apart) within 200’ of our home in the last year. We haven’t had one of these happen in three day now though. Getting cold at nights.

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

I have no firsthand knowledge but I’m going to assume that trying to heat a decrepit unwinterized ancient travel trailer in Saskatchewan in winter it’s going to cost significantly more than $400 a month, on top of someone else’s electrical bill. I really don’t know what the answer is but I’m...

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

Regina tends to get some winter weather too. We’ve got some kids in Vernon (so in the neighbourhood of Kelowna) and after a few years out there & they never again want to handle a Saskatchewan Winter again…& I look and compare the weather where I sit to the weather where they sit and it’s not...

Canada’s population is booming – and we aren’t building nearly enough homes

I’m seeing RVs (usually shitty old ancient decrepit travel trailers) in peoples backyards that people are obviously living in. I never saw this three years ago, and I saw the odd one two years ago, and I saw several of them last year, and I’m assuming I’m going to see many more of them this...
