    Another Trudeau scandal?

Stephen Harper’s Conservatives, in nine years, paid McKinsey & Company 2.2 million dollars (so less than $250,000 per year on average) for whatever services they were contracted for. Trudeau’s NDP/Liberals gave more than $30 Million to McKinsey & Company in 2021-2022 alone than the entire term...

    Another Trudeau scandal?

In the nine years of the Harper government, McKinsey was awarded $2.2 million in federal contracts. During Trudeau's seven years in office, the company has received $66 million from the federal government. McKinsey & Co. — a multi-billion dollar global consultancy firm with five locations in...

Three RCMP Shot Dead in Moncton NB

Consecutive sentencing. I didn’t realize that was still a thing in Canada even, and thought that it was all concurrent sentencing at this point. Interesting.

    Another Trudeau scandal?

I guess if other peoples money is no object though…then these consultant services stop being a service and start becoming a means to an end. In all honesty, I had never heard of this company of “McKinsey & Company” and I am assuming I’m not the only one and that’s the reason I posted that quick...

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

Nuclear is a risk with the best environmental return I’d wager. Hydro is a risk too with a big environmental footprint, but should we ban it (or just tax it into obscurity?). I think a mix of all of the above is the potential solution, at least in the foreseeable future.

Roman boxing gloves found near Hadrian's Wall

Join a gym or boxing club, & get some first-hand guidance from people who actually know what they’re talking about who aren’t trying to sell you something from Amazon, etc… Boxing is amazing Cardio and there’s a reason why (Except for Butterbean, & he was a total KO Freak) you generally don’t...

    Another Trudeau scandal?

It’s the scale of its use between Harper and Trudeau that rings the alarm bell for me.

    It's Climate Change I tell'ya!! IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!

Why would they freak out if they’re already not only already doing this but are the leaders in this? Where would the electricity come from for the electrolysis to convert this product from Natural Gas (?) & would that extra step and required power actually make it “Greener” than Natural Gas...

Thousands Protest on New Year’s Eve & Day in China; Shanghai Funeral Scalpers Profit Off COVID Spike

I think the world is getting tired of China’s threats… it may contain almost 1/4 of the global population, but enough is enough.

    Omnibus Russia Ukraine crisis

The very next post (#2692) says “For Ovechkin, you ban his ass from Canada, for life. He crosses, he's arrested for supporting terrorism and crimes against humanity.” That sounds “Cancel-ish” as well as condemned. 😁

Feds probe 'disturbing' tweets by consultant on government-funded anti-racism project

I totally was not kidding, either with respect to the no consultation with the public, unless the public agreed with them (is them the right pronoun here?) in advance. Back in April, Canadian Heritage ran online consultations for a future “National Action Plan on Combatting Hate” that could...

Feds probe 'disturbing' tweets by consultant on government-funded anti-racism project

It’s a solo act…. Sort of….. assuming that the liberals and the NDP are the same party…I guess…. And it’s without any public consultation unless the public happens to agree with whatever stance the liberal NDP party is currently partaking in I guess.. I’ve got a question for you, sir, with...

Feds probe 'disturbing' tweets by consultant on government-funded anti-racism project

The “National Action Plan on Combatting Hate” doesn’t exist yet. Whenever it is released, you may see ministers on the culture portfolio boast of the public consultations that helped shape it. If that happens, don’t take them at their word. Back in April, Canadian Heritage ran online...
