Public Inquiries into Emergencies Act begin September 19

The smart move by the NDP would be show him the door right before the election and bring in a new leader and say the last guy was an idiot .... I'm better.

I view that as a matter of scale. In the 60s, black people had no options. So challenge was required. If it was me, today, I would have just found a different baker. But since they took the litigation route, I can't see this one being dropped or verdict accepted until it reaches the SC. I think...

I am not saying the baker was right but is this really worth the fight? The baker would stand to lose $$$ on any non-straight God fearing weddings. The consequences of his actions in a free market place is economic. And while litigation is always an option, think of all the time wasted here...

First off, to the happy couple, is this the only baker in town? Why not just go elsewhere? And would it kill the baker to make a cake? Maybe use cheap ingredients and salt instead of sugar (by accident of course) and just move on? Lawyers.

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

If only someone would invent a delivery service for groceries or friends. Until then, I guess just put up some plexiglass to help the people being exposed somewhat more than if it wasn't there.

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

They should be wearing gloves or using hand sanitizer after touching your contaminated groceries. If they don't, its on them, The plexiglass protects them from you wheezing on them since you decided your need for groceries outweighs the health of everybody else around you. But we live in an...

While it should not be mandatory, should the woman not have the choice to abort the fetus? It is her body right? While I am pro-choice, this is the dark underbelly that comes with that position.

Same here. I used to do 10-12 games attendance per year. Haven't really gotten back to that level. I think there was a hockey strike around the same time, I really became less sports focused after those 2 strikes.

Toronto advance voter turnout down nearly 30% compared to record-setting 2014

It's a boring election. The current mayor and council have not done a good job but the alternatives running are even worse. And nobody is making any type of splash. So it is a boring race. I would expect apathy to win this one.

That is the record straight from mlb.com. mlb.com re-arranged the teams in current division format so GBL is hard to figure out. It looked like the west was pretty weak that year though. So they indeed may have been in it.

Right. The Mariners record in 1994 was a very typical 49-63 (.438).

Of course, the Expos probably would have won it as the Expos in 1994 making it 3 years in a row of a Canadian World Series winner had their not been that strike.
