    Pyewacket Mixes With Wrong Raccoon

Our cat Pyewacket, had a battle yesterday with a raccoon and it looks like she came off second best. She has a long, open cut above her left eye. She has a puncture wound right next to that eye and the eye is swollen almost shut and her nose has been bleeding. This is a cat that was known...

    Moose recipes

God. Did the driver or anybody survive that? That moose is in the back seat. Reminds me of a similar incident years ago, on the highway between Prince George and Vanderhoof. The driver was going fast and the moose went through the windshield and through most of the car, killing three of...

Why does America's economy always suffer under the Republicans

I didn't know this before, but I ran across an article this morning that clearly showed that under the Republicans, the economy falls, the value of the dollar drops, jobs are lost, and debt rises. What it showed just as clearly was that under the Democrats, the economy rises, jobs are created...

    Honour Canada's dwindling veterans

Not too many years ago, on November 11th we would see thousands of WW! vets on parade in Ottawa on Rememberence day. I have watched the Rememberence Day ceremonies in Ottawa for more years than I want to mention. I don't think we'll have any WW1 vets this year because there aren't any left...

    Meals using Sausages

Sounds good. My only comment would be that the Italian sausage I use gives off an awful lot of fat in cooking. (almost a half a cup from a pound of sausage). I always bake the sausage(350 degrees for twenty minutes) and pour off the fat before I add the sausage to the sauce. What the hell...

Pickup truck drivers are the worst drivers on the road..

You would think that if one was driving at the prescribed 110 kph on a mountain highway, the most likely vehicle to pass you would be a Porche, or a Mustang GT, or something low, sleek, and Italian............But no...........On a recent trip to Calgary and back, the vehicles that passed me on...

    Who should replace Harper?

In two federal elections, Harper has not been able to excite the people of this country into giving him a majority....A lot of pundits think Harper lost a winnable majority in the last election because he upset Quebecers in the final week of campaigning. I'm sure the Liberals will be putting...
