Unlikely bromance as Starmer meets Trump at White House

Two dudes can each claim that they’re taller than the other, but are they? Do you see what I’m saying here? Can you smell what I’m cooking? Just because they both claim that doesn’t make it true or real or even reasonable or logical. You and I can both say that we’re each older than the...

Reciprocal tariffs are in response to tariffs. If there aren’t tariffs, then there can’t be “reciprocal” tariffs. Who should we blame for these tariff threats the last month or two against Canada and Mexico? Putin? China? Ukraine? Israel?

Unlikely bromance as Starmer meets Trump at White House

How can both Britain & the US have a trade SURPLUS with each other? How does that math work? That’s like two guys both being taller than each other.

You know, if Pete happens to be right on this…& this tariff shit blows over…& Trump is just getting his jollies from this because his penis (which he hasn’t seen in years) just doesn’t work anymore…I think I know how Canada should respond. If this shit is dropped, Canada should announce...

    Canada 51st State

A top White House official has threatened to redraw the Canadian border amid Donald Trump’s ambition to turn the country in America’s “51st state”. Peter Navarro, one of Donald Trump’s closest advisers, is pushing US negotiators to discuss reworking the border with their Canadian counterparts...

So…The tariff threat tightrope drew tauter Thursday, while Britain, an erstwhile ally, threw Canada under the bus in its own rush to avoid Trump's tariffs… just like the cowards in Ottawa did with Mexico a month ago. U.S. President Donald Trump doubled down on his threat to slap...

Questions can sure be asked of him though in Parliament, assuming Parliament gets to actually happen….& he could have other ministers (MP’s of the Liberal stripe) answer for him as he’s up there with his opera glasses.

Yep. I’ve got a son-in-law working at a mill in the Vernon area. It won’t be doing him any favours I’m sure.

Well, you could potentially add 25% onto the 14 1/2% for that tariff

Parliament would be interesting at this point. Questions across the floor that he could answer or not answer… but I would love to see that happen before an election takes place.

🤞. Until that point, unless that happens, we’re doing everything we can to try and bulletproof our dealers from as much of the potential tariffs and reciprocal tariffs and reciprocal-reciprocal tariffs as we possibly can.

Yes, you are correct…& what will the Canadian government do in response? And when? Then what will Trump do in response to the response? And so on…?

Kelly McParland: How decades of Liberal indifference created Danielle Smith

Two big east-west projects have been canceled in the last decade, and a Canadian company also lost billions when former U.S. President Joe Biden revoked permits for the Keystone XL pipeline project to the U.S. in 2021. Trump on Monday said he wanted Keystone XL built and pledged easy regulatory...

We ourselves, for our 25-ish Canadian dealerships that we haul to, deal with about 60 manufacturing plants in that area above that I’m describing, and that’s not all of them by any means.

We are already doing that. Anything for any of our BC & Alberta dealers is piling up in a holding yard in Manitoba. We’re still running stuff to the Saskatchewan in Manitoba dealers directly.

Northwest Indiana. Google earth the Middlebury Elkhart Goshen Shipshewana area and try to count the RV manufacturing plants. It’s crazy. That’s where about 99% of this industry is located manufacturing wise with a dribble in Idaho, a couple in Oregon, a bit in California and Pennsylvania, etc…
