  • Hello. I'm probably only going to be on for a couple of mintues more (respond to PM). I got done work at 4am and I'm pretty tired. I have tonight off, so I'll be able to chat more then.

We made almost $6000 Friday night, and over $5000 last night. Crazy!
I just checked and Sleepy Hollow has already been renewed for a second season, but the ratings for Dracula don't fill me with hope for a second season (last episode had a 3.04 number for ratings). I am tired of these small seasons, though. Dracula was only 10 and Sleepy Hollow was only 13. At least Grimm (an excellent show) has a full season!
I know, right? That was the whole PREMISE of the show for crying out loud! I have heard, from time to time, that they want to do a reboot or movie, but with Scott Bakula slated to be in the new NCIS : New Orleans television series (in a main role) it won't likely be any time soon.:(
The final words on the screen..."Sam Beckett never goes home" or words to that effect. So basically he is "leaping" for all eternity. Of course, they made it open-ended like that as they were hoping that another station would pick up the show, but since that didn't happen it left that bummer of an ending.
Yeah, but the whole Paradox thing. I'm sure they have an out, though. Too many upset fans if they didn't.;)

And what did you think of the finale of Quantum Leap?
Nope. The Observers would still exist, it would just be the trait they had that caused them to want to conquer would no longer be there. If you recall, the original team of Observers were not bent on conquest, and they didn't even know the true reasons for their observations. That is why the timeline reverted back to the park where the invasion originally occurred.
I hate when they have endings like that. I know it was emotional and all that, but you prevent the possibility of any future shows involving that relationship. Of course, with Fringe being what it is (was), anything is possible, and they could "fix" that situation.
That was a bummer of an ending, eh? Almost bums me out as much as the final episode of Quantum Leap!
And it depends on whether or not the two young'uns will be saddling along with you to a new place.;)

Speaking of 'em, how are they doing?
Cleaned up your wall for you.;)

That's true. Of course, you'll want to sock away some for bags and bags of Eggies!;) Dang it, I've got an Eggie fix going on! I finished my last bag last week (from last year's supply...I tried to make it last as long as possible). I really love my Eggies! LOL!

So you're still thinking about moving to a place with a lawn, are you?:) Don't forget, that could mean raking leaves and *shudder* shovelling snow, something that sucked mightily this winter!
It is a shame that you weren't able to get someone to live there so you didn't have to sell it (I think you had wanted to move there, hadn't you?), but at least by selling it, you won't have that constant drain on your funds, and not have to worry about if anything would happen to it.
Well, work stress is pretty much a given, particularly this time of year. At least that one is manageable!:)
