Just got the first of two shots.

Next one in 2 months.

Arm is sore.

When can I expect my transformation to my final form to begin?

Captain's Log - The Shingrix Experiment - Day 2...

The left arm where I got the injection is feeling much better today. I can lift it above my shoulder and rotate it. I had suspected that it would fall off and like a lizard, a new arm would grow in, with lizard-like plates and possibly a claw. As this did not happen, I hypothesize that perhaps that comes later with the second injection.

The headaches have become bearable and are slowly going away. My brain was probably boiling as it reconstituted and attempted to join the reptilian hive mind. However I can't seem to hear anything other than my own thoughts, like "don't stick that fork in the electrical outlet again" so I probably am not ready to make my final transformation into a lizard person.

I'm still pretty tired. I slept a lot in the last two days. My body was probably trying to fall into a "brumation" like most lizards do when they are in a transformative state. I'm awake now though, so I most likely have time to make myself a peanut butter sandwich. I am going to miss those when I hit my final form. I'm not sure what lizard people eat anyway.

Oh, and sooo, itchy. I thought it was probably scales growing in to replace my skin but I did a body check and found nothing. Maybe the scales will secretly grow under my epidermis and then burst out when I get the second shot. Note to self, I'm not sure what lizard people wear but I better make sure I have some track pants available when I finally convert.

My Wife says that it's just a reaction to the "vaccination" but I can see by the look in her eye that she knows that soon I will be one of the reptoids. Well, it's either that or I am being dramatic, but I think the evidence is overwhelming for my "reptilian theory."

...the truth is out there...

I’m sure it beats having Shingles though. What are these two shots costing you?
Yeah, I don't really want shingles. I had chicken pox a few times as a kid and didn't like that but I can't imagine shingles.

I'm not sure what it's going to cost me. I got it at the doc's office but I had to get the medication from a pharmacy. My work covers it though. The medication was about 200 bucks. I'm sure my Doc's office billed OHIP for giving me the shot. Overall I'm paying for it somehow I suspect.

Maybe, if you are lucky, the second shot will be the antidote for the first one.
But I wanna get the full reptilian experience!
