Is "preemptive strike" the new term for declaring war? That is what it will amount to if Russia drops any bombs on a NATO country.
No, it's a preemptive strike, i.e., a strike intended to sharply reduce the adversary's capability, and hopefully it's will, to make war.

A declaration of war is a statement by the government of a country, according to its laws, that it is at war. In the U.S., it takes the form of a Joint Resolution of Congress.

A new Russian decoy drone used to spoof Ukrainian air defences is made up entirely of Chinese parts, it has been revealed.

The discovery, by Ukrainian intelligence, marks the first time that Russia has deployed weapons made only with Chinese components.

It shows the latest sign of cooperation between Beijing and Moscow, despite Xi Jinping insisting that China does not supply lethal aid to either side of the war in Ukraine.

China is supplying missiles now. It's going to escalate to NATO V's Russia and China in 6 weeks.

There is a short window twice a year where South China Sea is calm enough for a possible amphibious attack on Taiwan. It's not guaranteed but if its there its probably going to happen.

The South China Sea is known for its unpredictable weather, including typhoons and strong winds, especially during certain seasons. While some periods might offer calmer seas, the idea of a narrow, predictable window for an invasion is an oversimplification. The weather can change rapidly, making it difficult to plan and execute a large-scale amphibious assault with any certainty.

Trump said on Monday that he was disappointed in Russian President Vladimir Putin's failure to end the war in Ukraine, and that he was reducing a deadline to agree a peace settlement from 50 days to 8 or 5 or 10 or 12, maybe 85, but probably 10 or 50 or 12, but definitely not 47.

The trade deal with Europe needed ink to paper before Putin could be dealt with.

Europe took the full brunt of energy, food, lumber, steel, etc etc etc being cut off. Now the war machinery is complete and can march on full bellies and run on unlimited diesel without punctuated economic shocks.

Ukraine is back to hitting refineries.

Why are we missing the boat?

Probably cuz ya don't have any aircraft or missiles with enough range to hit refineries in Russia.

So we could burn down the white house again so Trump understands we will not become the 51st state?

We don’t have any refineries left.
