Crazy how the Pope has died on Easter Monday.

And only hours ago he met the US Vice President and did the usually Easter blessing of the crowd.

He was also the first non-European Pope since Gregory III (731-741).

im shocked that the republicans were allowed anywhere near the pope. :(

Well the Pope is God's representative on Earth, according to Catholics, so he has time for everyone. God loves us all, remember.

The last known photo of Pope Francis is of him meeting JD Vance.

Sky News now has the Bishop of Warrington Ruth Worsley on live who has said that even though he was practically on his deathbed, Pope Francis still went out to meet the people in the Vatican yesterday to mark Easter, the holiest period for hundreds of millions of Christians. He literally went out of his way to meet people despite dying in order to serve God.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Catholics are gathering at Westminster Cathedral (not to be confused with the Protestant Westminster Abbey) in London right now to mourn the death of their religious leader. A mass is about to take place there...

King Charles III - the leader of the Anglican Church - and Queen Camilla have expressed their condolences over the death of Pope Francis.

The British Head of State and Consort met the Pope two weeks ago during their State Visit to Italy...

World's smallest country mourns the death of its Head of State

On an otherwise glorious spring day, the world's smallest country Vatican City rings bells to mourn the death of its Head of State Pope Francis as thousands of mourning Catholics stood watching in St Peter's Square...
