Why do Muslims (and Jews) think that they can "do something" for Almighty God? He has no need of us. Christians focus on what God can do for us. The purpose of life is that God be glorified, and He does this in two ways: pouring wrath upon those who deserve it, and pouring grace upon those who don't deserve it.
