TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese researchers are looking for ways to reduce stress levels in tuna caught in nearby waters, so they taste better when they hit the plate.

Only in Japan....

Maybe they will start spiking the ocean with some Valium, get those tunas laid back & relaxed.

Well, anaesthetic gas works on fish. Could be a unique new way to fish... instead of dropping a net, drop a hose to bubble anaestethic gas through the water. It couldn't get much more stress free for them than that.

Why would they care? Nets don't give a hoot if they haul up strictly tuna or not. At least this way, everything would pop to the surface with a minimum of damage. lol.

Why not just let everyone eating the tuna have a few tokes first. As I recall, from people telling me about it of course, during a bout of the munchies, that I'm told people experience after toking up, people eat almost anything. Hell you wouldn't need the fish......just give'm tofu..;-)
