Didn't see a dual nationality flag there;-)
How - Canadian passport by birth - both parents held/still hold(early 70's)? landed immigrant status, Fathers job took us back to England.
Why - I can think of several reasons to keep both passports. Safety + ease of travel being the 2 most obvious ones.
My kids will have dual citizenship I expect.

Brighton is cool, not so much af the chain bar madness that has swept the high streets of pretty much everywhere else, so lots of small interesting places to go out to. I live just outside (6M) Brighton though - its the nearest city for location purposes.
Edmonton is quite a way from home...
Oh, please dont, I train at Kung Fu with a si hing named Guy...and he's from Brighton, I always wind him up about coming from the "Gay capital" to which he usually kicks the crap outta me and this is just gonna get me taking the michael more and getting a bigger kicking!!! doh!!!
