Bill has ALWAYS spoken out on immigration.

And on the Thursday edition of his show, he had more details and interviews.

A immigrant, has to apply for a visa, before coming into the country.

Coming to the USA first and demanding a Visa later, is not the way it works.

I am saying we have millions of Mexicans who jump into the USA without even attempting at the legal route, and if they are found to be there illegally, they should be deported back to Mexico, and then they can apply for a visa LEGALLY.

If the gov. has taken care of the illegals when they first noticed them, then this problem would be gone.

I would imagine that the majority of the Mexicans who come into the U.S. illegally, would still be in Mexico, as they could not afford to come in legally. That does not mean I agree with what they did, it is just a fact. Most of them seem to be dirt poor, and it is a shame that their own government isn't taking better care of them.

Yes, that's right, it's a shame. They are after a 'better' life, a job, and a little money to spend.

When we stayed in Yuma and California a few times, I was impressed at the 'hard working' mexican
community, working in the gardens, restaurants, hotels, all very nice people, hard working, and
polite. I don't think badly about them at all, but the system in the U.S. is definitely broken in
respect to immigration over that border, and getting worse.

This is why I have little sympathy for people who complain about illegals. For the record, I came here legally and am still on a proper work permit to live here so I am not advocating people come here illegally. I just don't care to hear Americans complaining about it when they tacitly endorse it. I live in California. If we didn't have illegals, we wouldn't be getting much produce at the grocery store because Americans won't pick fruit or vegetables for cheap wages. We wouldn't have people to clean our big houses or look after our big yards or raise our children for us. Many of our industries survive because Mexicans come here and are willing to work for slave wages. If the government or Americans in general were serious about getting rid of illegal immigrants, they would start punishing the businesses that use them as labour with fines or by not buying their products. Until they do that, Bill and his ilk are just making a show for the camera.

I agree with you, but, why can't the u.s. government develope a method of allowing those people into
the country on a visa that they 'all' could afford, then, none of them would have any reason to come into the country illegally, and the ones that still would NOT obtain visas, probably would be undesireables, and shouldn't come in.

American borders are as porous as popcorn. A nation's first duty is to define and secure boundaries. The US hasn't a clue. Then they condemn the Pakistanis for Taliban infiltration into Afghanistan. Mr. Kettle in a black suit.
