"Do you have peace"?

There are many people out there in the world who have not peace. I'm talking peace in our souls concerning our relationship with the Almighty.

You've heard the expression when when someone is facing death: "Better make peace with your maker because you are about to die"?

Well, that peace I am talking about is assurance. An assurance that God will save your soul.

God made promises to us, that if we but accept them in faith, we shall have peace.

And this peace that He gives, surpasses all understandings.

This peace is in the temple of your heart where God will abide.
There is no one religion that can give that to you but Christ alone.

Yes, they all claim this and that, but none of them have any power to change your life. Only Jesus can.
Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Hag 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

The former house is the flesh, the latter is the spirit.The former binds us, the latter sets us free.

Ask Jesus into your heart and see if He will not grant you the peace you so richly deserve.

Absolutely no requirements, just bring your heart to Him, and He will take care of the rest!

Quite correct! The reason being is that no earhlty thing is any substitute for the real thing, heavenly.

Peace comes from God, and is not earthly, but expresses itself in earthly vessels of clay.

I dont feel peace lately......but I know I'll find it again........I have faith.

At times peace doesn't come easily, one has to 'fight' for it. My youngest daughter has had a horrible year, and finally managed to free herself and her children from an abusive marriage. As a family we
all gathered round to support her, (without smothering), and together we all 'fought' our way along with her to help her back to the 'peace' she once had, and now, seven months later, I can see that
day drawing near, where she will be her happy, alive, upbeat, positive self, along with her children.
There are sometimes setbacks for her, but she scrambles back, and keeps moving upward and ahead
with her life. Peace is all around us, we must bring it into our lives, we owe it to ourselves, it is the
best feeling we can have, without it we cannot 'shine'.

Dear heart, God gives peace in the midst of our trials. It is His presence that assures us that what ever happens, our hearts are at rest.
And this peace does not the world make, but while in the world, we may be at peace knowing that we are being cared for and loved.
Rely not on your own understandings but instead have faith in God to supply all your needs.

I know of your trials and tribulations as I've conversed with you for some time. And peace is a commodity hard to find in this world of afflictions.

But I know of such peace because I rely completely on the my Lords watch over me.

And I can feel for your sufferings and can only pray for your relief of them.

I believe I know your heart, and there is great love there.

That love is what pulls you through it all.

I pray the peace of God upon you and your family.

Thank you for your kinds thoughts A.J. We are not alone or special in any way, everyone has their
own story to tell, but it is so important that, when the tough times arrive, we all have our tough
coats on, and can turn and face the problems, and in that way, they will soon be trounced on, and
good times will prevail.
We don't have control over other's actions, but we do have the power to put our guards up, and
prevent others, who have nothing to offer but misery, and they will realize that those actions
are not welcome in our lives.
And, on we go.
All of our power is in our heads and hearts, and even though those powers are challenged from time
to time, they cannot be defeated.
