hello

what the world needs right now is a sloution to stop all the wars and the terrorist acts thats going on the Q is why do arab and muslim pepole have all this hate and rage aginst the americans and westerns in general you might think because arabs and muslims dont like other races or other religons and all what they want is to keep killing other pepole just beacuse they are not muslims and is say bull****
the # 1 reason that makes arabs and muslims hate america and the westerns is isreal this small country located in the midlle east wich is a country based on religon in this case is jewish isreal started one day in 1948 jewish pepole coming from all over the world came to palstine ( what they call isreal now ) and said that this our country .. what the hell how it could be your country and you are from russia or poland or england or france or maroco ..... etc this country should not even exist it a big mistake in the history of humanity and time will prove i mean dose anyone belives that isreal is gone last he is fooling him self you americans help isreal to kill arabs and muslims you give them weapons and money and political support in evrything aginst the arabs you help them in wars and than you want arab and muslim pepole to stop attcking you and you also keep calling them terrorits if the USA and western countries stop thire blind supprt for this small jewish county wich is located on the arab muslim country and killed arab pepole almost evryday and than to make the situotin even beter you attack afghanstan and to make way much beter you attack iraq for what all for the sake of the jewish state and the jewish pepole that controling the us forigen policy like hand popet if you just take one good look for all thw wars that going in the world you will find a trace that leads you to isreal or one of isreal allies in the white house or the congres or the american govement in general

Thank you for your explanation libyano. It's nice to hear these things in simple words sometimes. Most of my fellow posters write in cryptic terms with references to events I dont know about and often dripping with sarcasm I cannot understand. I haven't made any judgements yet but I understand the middle east a little better now. As a note to other people, I also know that many people don't follow this line of thought.

Don't forget the Crusades. Peoples have long memories, and don't ever think that the muslim world has forgotten the many attempts by the Christian world to convert them over. In order to gain / retain power, there are people in the Arab world who are essentially teaching that the west is trying to run another Crusade.

It's a messy, complicated thing, and underlying an awful lot of it is oil and oil money.

If i'm reading this correctly your saying that the world would be a much better place without israel? Doesn't every country have a right to be a country no matter what problems they've caused or are causing now with countries supporting them or not. Wouldn't that mean that the same thing could be said for all of the countries that have terrorist. That means if we got rid of Iraq, Afganistan, Iran, Kuwait the world would be better off.

Err.... nothing against you, i'm just stating what I think and trying to see if i've gotten everything correct.

To be fair, looking at history shows plenty of Islamic aggression (Islamic invasion of India, Islamic invasion of Spain, more recently aggression from the Ottoman Empire / Turkey, among others). The point? That there is plenty of blame to go around.

As far as Israel goes. What about the Israeli children killed in various wars, terror attacks, etc.? Is the creation of Israel their fault? Do they deserve to be punished for decisions made by politicians sixty years ago? Not to mention, why can't the Israelis and the Palestinians just get along? Seriously, what ever happened to live and let live?

They don't deserve death just for being Jewish. And until Islamic nations stop threatening to invade Israel, 'western' nations won't stop arming the Israelis.

I think you need to broaden your horizons and learn a little more about geopolitics. The attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq had nothing to do with Israel, and Israel doesn't have anything like the influence in the world you seem to think it does. It's a little difficult to be sure of what you're saying, but since you've stated that English isn't your first language and I'd guess from your public profile and the opinions you seem to have expressed that you're a Libyan muslim, I'll work a little harder at trying to understand you.

It seems clear that you think Israel has no right to exist, that you think every war currently going on in the world has something to do with Israel's interests, and that Israel controls U.S. foreign policy. You're heading toward paranoia about Israel, which is not surprising considering where you are. It's true that the creation of Israel in 1948 displaced a lot of Arabs who were living in the territory at the time, but it's also true that the Arab Muslim nations surrounding Israel refused to accept migrants who wanted to leave the territory. They were told to stay, Arab armies would soon drive the Israelis into the sea, and things would soon return to the way they were before. That turned out not to be true; Israel survived. But all the displaced Arabs, who are now in Palestinian refugeee camps and in the slums of Cairo and Damascus, are there because of the refusal of Israel's neighbours to accept them. It was the Arab nations around Israel, playing at geopolitics, that created that situation.

You need to understand why Israel was created in the first place. It really goes back to the First World War in the early years of the 20th century. Look up the Balfour Declaration, the Palestinian Mandate, and the Holocaust, and you might begin to understand. But first you have to accept that Jews have a right to exist. It's not clear from your post what you think about that, but it *is* clear that you don't know enough to justify the opinions you've expressed. I was in Cairo for three weeks in 2001 and I read the English language Arabic press every day. It was full of paranoid nonsense about Israel and Jews, like the claim about Jews using blood from non-Jewish children to make their matzoh balls. If that's the kind of information you're getting in LIbya, you're never going to understand what's really going on.
