what is supposed to happen is a popup box will appear so u can enter the URL of your hosted image. maybe u have popups blocked?

Aha! You're a genius.. I guess that comes in with bitdefender. I'll give my Uncle a call to see if he can help me sort it out! Thanks hermanntrude!

usually there's an option in whichever virus checker/defender/firewall thingie you're using to allow popups for certain sites. I usually use firefox which has a built in popup blocker but when it blocks one it tells u it did it, and asks u if u want to be able to see the popup, and allows you to make that decision final for that site, or not.

I use imageshack.us I don't know if it's considered good but it works fine for me. U have to sign up but it's free and i havent noticed an increase in junk mail, although I'm pretty much saturated anyway

I use Firefox as well.

To post an image, all you have to do is right click on the image and select "copy image location". You then go to the reply box and click on the larger envelope thingy that is the "post an image" button. A box will appear where you can enter the URL of the image. Left click the cursor in that box and hit ctrl Alt, V. to put the address in the box. Hit enter and your image should appear in your post.

Hope this helps..

Yes. For new images or photos, you have to use a throw away website like I often do, or one of the image storing sites you mentioned.

The following image of my granddaughter is from a throw-away website.

i can see it, yes but it's surrounded by uneccessary HTML. forget that next time

Haven't got a clue how that got there. Gonna try again later. I just copied the forum code from image shack and that's what I got. I'm trying to figure how to get the whole pic and not the 'clickable thumbnail' :)

ah that's why. Just copy the direct link code instead of the forum one. the forum here automatically adds the code necessary so you'll have it twice. I spose u could copy the code and then write it into the post directly without bothering with the picture button, but ive never tried that
