How can we get rid of our sinfulness?

Sanctus knows only what God wants him to know and understand. That goes for you too.

I have not gotten to where I am just because. I have gotten to where I am because I have made it my passion to learn all I can about my Lord, His Father and their works.

I am in love with the author of life, His creation and His creatures. So I seek to learn all I can.

He knows that and grants me understanding according to His wishes, and that goes for you all too.

We learn from each others life's experiences and knowledge gained.

The body has many members and it can not be all fingers or all eyes, but many different parts making up of a perfect body as constructed by God.

So, here we are again. We are ignorant and not as highly advanced in our faith as AJ.

i'm not sure i can appreciate the numbers in the bible. I think one could choose a number at random and find significance in the bible, or any book as wide and varied as the bible, simply because there's so much information in there. I think I agree with sanctus that since it was written by many people in many places at many times, a secret code is unlikely.

I find the significance of numbers fascinating, dont get me wrong but I see them as significant mathematically rather than mystically.

what do u mean that 7 is a complete number? you mean it's a prime number?

You can, as you said, do that with any book as huge as your average Bible. It is the height of silliness to think the bible has secret number codes put in by God that only, apparently, Aj has figured out.

Better idea, just get by your self and read the bible. Wack! The Holy Spirit will address the concerns of your heart.
Knowledge has been gathering for thousands of years, and each generation contributes new knowledge to the other. Always progressing to that perfect state.

You have asserted that our knowledge of Catholic/Christian teaching is deficient. Please note that you didn't say in what way it was deficient, or point out to me how I have supposedly erred in my thinking, or demonstrated with scriptural proof or otherwise the nature of my deficiencies, you have merely proclaimed from on high that I don't know what I am talking about. Frankly, that is uncharitable as well as being most unpersuasive. Just because I don't believe in what you believe does not make me ignorant of what I am discussing.

the thing about numbers and correlations is all of them have a lot. every number under a hundred has some amazing facts about it. i once listened to a 30 minute radio show all about the number 7. it has a lot of significance, but so has the number 4. and the number 2, and 6, and all the integers. even irrational numbers and weird decimals can appear to have enormous meaning if you investigate them far enough. BTW 7 was recently discovered to be the number of shuffles where a shuffled deck of cards goes from having order to being random. it's a point transition and not a gradual thing at all. Apparently if you can shuffle perfectly (ie cut the deck exactly in half and then flick them together so they two sides alternate exactly) then if you do it 8 times they go back to where they started.
I did that once and think it took more like a dozen times before they were back in order.

Yeah, any number at all will work into an equation somewhere. Boy, talk about a massive conspiracy of deities. :D

Well, I have devoted time and study to the word. I know and understand that God is love.

And I know how He loves us.

The numbers have given me some insight into His creative designs.

But, then, not everybody is interested.

No! I proclaim, and you define yourself based on what I say! So far, everything I've said has been met with opposition. Has anyone yet met me where I'm at?

If you knew what I was talking about, there wouldn't be a discussion.

Yeah, you proclaim yourself to be all kindsa stuff. Next thing we know, you'll call yourself Yahweh.

I don't think anyone wants to be "where you are at".

If you knew what I was talking about, there wouldn't be a discussion.

Yeah, you'd be here all by yourself.

By your own words you have defined me. The only proclamation I make is that Jesus is in me working to show others His love through me.

I don't think anyone wants to be "where you are at".

I don't have that judgment to make.

Yeah, you'd be here all by yourself.

But I'm not! Your still here!
