Thank you :) Though I think it comes with experience.. I find many people haven't experienced much, and their maturity seems to reflect that - they havent' been through hell and back. Neither have I, but I've been through more than the average 21 year old.
My X's son lost his mother at the age of 13. Lived with his father that didn't really care if he was there or not. I saw him again when he was 18 a few years ago, and I was amazed. Level headed ,never bad mouth his father or his grandmother (lord knows I would).. Just incredible . I was never that mature at that age. He grew up as an independant young adult. Surpassing his father who was 17 at the time of his birth. He turned 24 on dec 31st. He's the closest thing to a son as I have.
