The question is simple, the why is something you have to explain.

Yes , because they have elected that president in 2000, and they have re-elected him in 2004, even though the world knows that the bush administration did the worst in their first mandate, however what the world knows and what americans does know, is most of the time, quite much different.

If I thought you were just anti-Bush, your points might have more of an air of validity to them. But you come off as being so anti-"AMERICAN" as do a lot of old european powers and the rest of the UN lovers, you lack credibility.

But you are right, what the rest of the "world" "knows" and what we know here in the U.S. is different. Perception is 9/10ths of reality, to you we may seem bull-headed and arrogant, to us, countries like France and 99% of the UN just come off as being jealous school children who are really unhappy about their lack of presence on the world stage.

I am more than ever now, thinking we should do as Gopher suggests and concentrate on "Americanism", and let the rest of you fend for yourselves.

"and let the rest of us fend for ourselves" Love to.
That is such a typical arrogant comment from an American

The sooner America quits sticking their nose in everyone elses business, the sooner we will all be safer. Who made America the world's policeman? If you think you are so invinciable why don't you invade N Korea, after all THEY have WMD, they admit it, where Iraq denied it. The only reason Rumsfeld was sure that Iraq had WMD is because he still has the receipts from when America sold them to Iraq. I'll tell you why America does not invade N Korea. It's because you would get your asses kicked that's why, plus there is nothing of any value to America, in the form of oil, oppium and such in N Korea. Anyways, back to the reason I'm responding to this, like I said the sooner you stay out of everyone elses business the better we will all be. Fending for ourselves would be quite easy. In Iraq today there is anywhere from 10 to 30 bombings EVERY day now. This was never the case before the American invasion. All America do is march in and destroy country's economies and inferstructures and then leave and let someone else clean up the mess they create. Thanks America.

If you want you can replace "America" with "the Bush Administration" so I don't sound so Anti American. However when I hear a typical arrogant comment like Thomaska it's hard not to be.

And another thing, Saddem is going to hang for killing 158 people. How many people have died in Iraq since the American invasion, while Bush sits on his thrown. It seems someone else should be at the front of a war tribunal.

Being fair !

Hi Albertabound & others,

I loved you comment all along, but one part. (I'll go back to it later) You are so right in fearing being judged quickly by Americans citizens, but in fact, we are the same... I wouldn't dare anymore wearing my "Statue of Liberty" tie depicting the bright US flag in the background. I used to recognized the US as a strong nation, but after 9-11, everything changed... Yes, Americans are responsible for the hate they showed regarding ethnic diversity.
They are not responsible for the F_U that happend during election night, but who realy knows...

As for my point where I may object is where you mention dead attributed to civil war to Mr. Bush. I don't think the "terrorists, or whatever they called them" are ever right in kidnapping civilians and childrens. This is disgusting events, that for my ideas, are not related to US in any ways... There is sectarian violence on a daily basis. There is no real difference between before and after... We are taking "GOOD CARE" of bikers when they commit crimes... What does it get to fight for peace. We all know war is useless... Making them happy seems impossible if we want to keep peace... Unless a country like Canada, with large unused lands, would give some to create the Israeli part. There is NO simple solutions, but I start to fear that there may be no complex one either.

Sorry for the chapter, but explaining in typing may be sometimes risky when we deal with that.

Have a great day to all of you !

What I expect is for Americans to quite sticking their chests out and come down to where the rest of the world is and realize that you are not above everyone else. You are not God on earth and never will be. The sooner you build your walls the better, we won't come in if you don't come out, and the world will become a safer place.

Why doesn't anyone call the "American-lovers"(LOL) on the UN debacle. Remember no one had a problem with the UN until it crossed Bush on the Iraq thing. It was only AFTER that, and the resulting charactor assignation(that is the M.O of the Admin) that people suddenly decided that the UN was somehow biased. Which is clearly impossible.(200 Representatives, having their own individual countries agenda's in mind - can not by definition be biased against one country - unless the entire world is jealous of America, which is clearly not the case - therefore, this is/was/and forever will be a strawman issue.)

As for the topic of the thread. Those that voted for Bush - yes they are clearly responsible and should be made to feel shame and guilt for being so weak and fearful. Those that didn't can hardly be held accountable for something they didn't do. The Admin itself should be held for War Crimes and if found guilty pay whatever price is warrented for these crimes.

Blame me! I wrote part of the 'script' for the poll manipulations.

We are responsible when the truth comes to light that the reasoning behind a war has no grounds. We should have stop. Said, "My Bad!". Paid them off like we do everyone else. Upon us finding this information out we let it ride.

I love this place. Would not leave it. Try to change it for the better.

Hey I am not taking the blame for the V.P. shooting the Lawyer though!!!!!!!!! ;)
