Hmm. . . gotta get me one of them "Not My King" protest signs.

Cuz, see, in my case, it's not a protest. Just a fact.

Maybe all the people holding those signs should be detained and investigated on suspicion of illegal entry.

I saw one of those protest signs on a beach in the sand a few days ago and it said: "Not My Kink."

I think republicans should learn to spell.

Thousands are gathering in front of Buckingham Palace to see if the King and Queen appear on the balcony.

Here they are!

In what’s sure to be one of the key images of the day, the newly-crowned King and Queen emerge on the balcony and wave to the vast crowds who’ve gathered along The Mall to witness the spectacle.

Charles III is dressed in purple, a royal colour.

The King's grandson Prince George, third in line, is to the far left of the photo. One day we will have his Coronation.

The King shows off the British Royal Family as it is now, which he now heads.

In the front is Princess Charlotte, the King's granddaughter, third in line.

Next to her is her brother Prince Louis, number four.

To their left is their mother and father, the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Cheers ring out as they take the balcony.

As at every Coronation since that of George II in 1727, Zadok the Priest rang out.

As the screens were brought out to shield him from view and as the Archbishop of Canterbury anointed him with holy oil, Zadok the Priest sang out, as the King received the holy oil on his forehead, hands and chest upon the Cosmati Pavement.

Despite his elevated status, the King was stripped to his vestments for the ceremony.

The anointing of the British monarch is so sacred it cannot be carried out in public gaze...

King Charles III kneels and places his hand on the Coronation Bible to make his Coronation Oath to his people.

This oath has been enshrined in law since the 17th Century
.

The oath ensures the monarch will respect the Church of England of which he heads but also ensures citizens of any beliefs can live freely in this country.

The King vows to respects his people's beliefs...

King Charles III and Queen Camilla depart Westminster Abbey following the end of the Coronation service.

Their Majesties then began their procession towards Buckingham Palace.

The King was wearing the more "everyday" Imperial State Crown familiar to most Brits as he left the abbey and not the St Edward's Crown he was crowned in.

The procession, formed of eight groups and supported by 19 bands, is being led by the Brigade Major of the Household Division, Lieutenant Colonel James Shaw of the Grenadier Guards, who is accompanied by four Corporal Majors of The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.
