Aren't you watching the news? A pretty good investment into the people that helped build the railway and settled the gap to keep the Americans from claiming it under the Louisiana purchase, we would have lots if this gov. would let us develop our resourcesWho won ? Not complaining as much as being consitent . Our tax dollars should be spent judiciously .Then quit complaining.
The bog hoppers and chinks built the rail road .Aren't you watching the news? And Scottish people engeneered and ram radded it through .The bog hoppers and chinks built the rail road .
Look dude, if Putin is activating Soviet-era tanks to make up for the losses the war ain't over yet. This conflict has a few possible endgames.Who won ? Should we send more money ? Do we have any ?
In the West coming from the East was Ukrainians and other immigrants working their way to the prairiesThe bog hoppers and chinks built the rail road .
Cowards woulda thrown in the towel after Pearl Harbor. Or the Blitz.Russia's "big, bad" Armored Corps is little more than a parade army.
The diesel engine that powered the Russian T-34's, KV's and IS tanks from WW2 was designed in 1937. That same design has powered almost every tank model the Soviets/Russian built since then, including the much vaunted T-90. Any 8cyl pickup built in the last 30 years has more torque than a T-90. The T-90 also has several other weaknesses thanks entirely to the kleptocracy that runs Russia.
The "dreaded" T-14 Armata will likely never be built beyond the handful they already have. The company that designed and built it went bankrupt to the tune of $65 billion USD. The company that took over production can't build any more of them because the design relies heavily on Western technology.
But here's where the T-14's birth gets weird. The Russians decided their new super-MBT should be built around a completely different engine. Makes sense since the engine design currently in use is woefully inadequate for todays modern MBTs. But they didn't design a new engine, they just fucking copied the design of the engine that powered the fucking German Tiger of WW2 infamy. A design I might add that was notoriously unreliable. Probably why the T-14s keep breaking down on parade.
The Ukrainians have been playing it smart too, like avoiding pitched battles with Russian armor and instead spending part of their focus ruthlessly attacking the Russian logistical supply. Tanks are just coffins for the crew if they have no fuel and ammo. Plus the crews need food, as do the rest of the Russian forces in Ukraine.
And well, we've already seen what Western armor does to T-72s, T-60s and T-55s.
Out front of a building in Moscow is a Mk IV tank from WW1. If that goes missing in the next few weeks, yikes.
Are our tax dollars being wasted on Ukraine? Not complaining as much as being consitent . Our tax dollars should be spent judiciously .
The most valuable pieces of equipment in a war are trucks. No fuel, no food, no ammo = no war.Russia's "big, bad" Armored Corps is little more than a parade army.

Sounds like the Ukes have those crazy Russians high tailing it back to Moscow . War should be over next week .Russia's "big, bad" Armored Corps is little more than a parade army.
